Balanitis Suffering Woes

Dear Bros Need Help!
Notice I have suffer Balanitis and went to GP and prescribe with Ketoconazole 2% cream and Sodium Fusidate 2% cream for a course for 10 days.

It almost 3 weeks that I have stop using the cream (assume all fungal had been treated) to avoid damaging the healthy glans but notice the patches seem to be spreading a wider area of my glans.

Like to check how long does it takes to resume the color of my glans to original skin tone after the medication as I notice a patch of mid redness still persist and I read that our glans skin layer are very sensitive and takes longer time to heal.

Appreciate Dr Tan or anyone with same experinces can advice whether the red shiny patch on my glans will resume same color tone despite assuming the anti fungal cream had kill all bacterials and the glans skin maybe damage by the cream. I am desperately trying moisturizer, coconut oil and skin repair cream to resolve the red patch but it seem nothing helps or should I wait for it to heal on it own for 6 weeks.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, but the red patchy still persist and did not go away. Not sure whether must I wait for it to heal or the medication cream are not suitable. Till date it almost 3 weeks I completed the course and during that time of consultation din ask Doc will it heal completely (color of glans resolve) in that 10 days where normally I assume it must.

It look red shiny blotchy patch still there and not sure how long it will cleared?

n is lighter shade, will take shorter time. If ur dark skinned then u got to wait a long while. lol

some of the antifungal creams like ketoconazole have side effects as well on the areas applied.

i think better you see a doctor lah.

get it sorted out
