PAP needs to win ONLY about 30% of the valid votes to win the General Election!

Here's how, based on the number of eligible voters per 5/6-member GRCs: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singap...015#Candidates Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC: 129,850 Jurong GRC: 130,428 Marine Parade GRC: 146,087 Nee Soon GRC: 132,200 Sembawang GRC: 144,604 Tampines GRC: 143,426 Tanjong Pagar GRC: 130,391 Ang Mo Kio GRC: 187,652 Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC: 187,252 Total eligible voters for the above nine 5/6-member GRCs (47 seats): 1,331,890 51% of 1,331,890 = 679,264 Total Electorate: 2,460,977 679,264 / 2,460,977 x 100% = Only about 27.6% of the electorate (assuming ALL bother to vote) needs to vote for the PAP in order for the PAP to win a SIMPLE majority of the seats in Parliament, and therefore CONTROL the government!!! :eek: Click here to view the whole thread at www.sammyboy.com.
