Criminal justice in sinkieland is weird. Why is this murderer not sent to the hangman?

Foreigners knew that other than serving short prison term, it would be no big deal for them to burn police cars. No caning and no long term imprisonment.

By serving just slightly 10 yrs in prison, the murderer would walk free but the victim would never walk again. Why is this injustice in sinkieland?

A weak Govt or a weak criminal justice system?

When brutal force was used to attack his victim, the murderer ought to have known that the brutality would kill the victim. If this is not premeditated killing, what then is killing?
