Batam Casino & Bola Might Be Closed For Another 3 Months

Heard the latest news yesterday...not sure how latest this is...the casinos, bola,etc...will be closed for another 3 months...not sure how true this is..any Bro can confirm this news...

This news came from a very good friend working there.

You sure 3 months? What I heard is 1 month. So far no news yet. Looks like the boss in jakarta is keen on closing it for good. Attempts to open have lead to raids, few weeks ago.

Business in batam sure kana hit bad. Not as crowded as usual in batam. Much less singaporeans around

everywhere get closed down ... so all come to sillypore ....

Well, he hates chinese. And the casinos is a big earning for the local chinese gals there. Creates a lot of job for the chinese, becos no malays are allowed in there, so all chinese wat.

He is businessman also. Naturally he see chinese as competitor. Naturally Batam is much more quiet these days.

Imagine all of a sudden a lot of people lost their jobs. And also a lot of tourist dollars gone......

it's just a matter of time ... with the high profile and negative feedback from the public opinion on the casion in sin ... the gov might decide to delay the setting up ... but will NEVER abandon the ideal ...

You think they care about public opinion? THey are preparing the public mentally for a casino, not ASKING for 1.
