i was introduced to this app by a friend who claim it is a clone of grindr. Out of curiosity, i downloaded and installed both onto my ipod touch to compare the difference. Being a heterosexual guy, i juz went into grindr to have a look and came out, but tried out blendr more extensively. Its like a facebook focused on singles and less explicit and sexually orientated then grindr i guess.
So far, my attempts to chat with people have been quite unmmeaningful and futile. Either they log off without warning in the middle of a conversation, reply in a way(one word answers) that shows they r not interested to chat(y reply in the 1st place?), need very tedious prompting, or ignore me.
i did not chat with guys becoz i don't think they will bother with me partly also becoz i just feel they might think i'm gay. But maybe i'll start doing that now since i've not much luck chatting with the ladies. I'm pretty sure i wasn't disrespectful or sleazy. Maybe i'm not gd-looking enough for them to be interested in a chat, but im also wondering if perhaps the app is actually just a white elephant. People install liao, end up, not using it. appear online simply becoz their 3G is always turned on and they never delete unused apps.
i'm also curious if anyone, guys and ladies, manage to have any interesting or substantial conversation with people on it, or even manage to get hook ups or decide to meet up due to common interest and mindset. Please share your experiences with the app.
