Shows you what a newbie I still am. I didn't even know about New York Hotel until you mentioned it (so hard to search the JB forum with all the junk ad threads), so now I know where to go next time. Will maybe try BW too.

1st time to Zon, I went by car--unofficial taxi 'cause I didn't know any better--about 10 minute car ride for RM20.

2nd time to Zon, I took the bus from JB Sentral--about 15 minutes.

Where NY (at least from the way it sounds) and Ocean are a sure thing, at Zon, it seems like it's more hit or miss. There are a few gems to be had of the remaining FLs, but like I said earlier, you really have to fish. I'm a PT regular back in Singapore and I find Ocean to be comparable. The other joints are significantly lower in quality, but sometimes it's fun to "slum it." Makes you feel more like a man. But have you seen the FLs on the the street near Ocean? Now that's slumming it.
