An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

Try putting on a surgical mask and then use duct tape to seal the gaps.

Try breathing normally after you have finished taping all 4 sides so there are no air leaks around the edges. You'll find you can't because the masks aren't porous enough.

The reason why surgical masks are being worn by every nut job in town is because they are the most comfortable and that is because they're leaking around every single edge. In other words they are useless.
