had a lightbulb moment when i was looking at the lim xia suay and retrenchment threads.....the reason why so many jiak liao bees like toothpick lim and desmond quek can thrive and survive in this SG environment is because PAP is a colossal economic power,they are backed by the infinite resources of GIC.temasek and the GLC companies.

normally in the corporate world or private sector or capitalism,incompetency and uselessness do not last long or at least not forever,incompetent ceos or leaders get fired and fade away,like john scully former ceo of Apple or citibank ceo,companies that are unable to compete dies or fade away like nokia or compaq or arthur andersen or Borders or Amoco.

theres one exception to the case,SIngapore,where a maglignant tumor refuses to die no matter how much we bombard it with radioactivity or chemotherapy.in this case its called the PAP government.

PAP is backed by powerful economic forces under their control which is why we have to put up with a bunch of idiots for years and years even decades,they are impossible to fire....the only way we can challenge PAP's grip on power is to build a economic behemoth that can rival that of GIC,temasek and GLCs.....someone has to go out there and build a economic behemoth,a conglomerate like Samsung to take on PAP's titan,it will be battle of the titans,
