Just went to ICA to apply Citizenship for my wife. Went to RM 14 to see the Commissioner of Oaths but see her already very sian . bin chao chao like maciam i owe her money like tat , see liao se pei not happy leh.

Luckily i have photocopy all my docement so everything go quite smoothly. now will have to wait for the reply. Anybody can let me know what is the average waiting time for the letter?

Normally 3 months or more but after 3 months you may start calling to enquiry, I have heard cases within 2 months though.

My sis-in-law wait for arounf 6 mths plus for her Spore Citizenship approval

just 1 thing to check with all of you again. Any body's wife here is from Myanmar?

I heard from my in-law that there will be an Election in the month of May and everybody have to go back to vote else their name will be strike off from their own household list. So my wife is worried and wanted to go back for the voting (knn like tat i vomitting )

Anybody come across this issue?

my wife just got her PR approved after 5 months. been calling them weekly for the last 3 months, finally got the good news last saturday. lately ICA received lots of application so processing time becomes longer. Need to be patience.
