Happi New Year bro here!

Most likely will be sent to BKK for 2-3 month for short assignment soon aftre CNY. Office is near Silom and would like to find a svc apt to stay, would Somerset Suanplu ok? How far would that be ? Or would there be a better 1-3 rooms svc apt neraby with good rate? Looking forward to cheong aftre work with a beer and food nearby rather spending time of BTS or cab.

Appreciate is any bro could give some advise and maybe can cheong together too...

This service apartment is in Sathorn, a few parallel streets to Silom. Depending where is your office, abt 15-30 mins walking distance.

To take taxi, Sathorn and Silom are in super jam area...no traffic will be 5-10 mins to reach office or back. During peak hour, half to 1 hr. Most taxi dun like to go Silom and Sathorn esp peak hours.

Have not heard of any good entertainment place in Sathorn...

Yes In Love Cafe (Krua Kan Aeng) FLs are expensive but sometimes got good gems. Depends on your luck.

Prefer Saphan Kwai Agogo Bars than the Sukhumvit/Patpong ones.

For the uninitiated you need to speak some Thai to get a better experience at In Love Cafe (Krua Kan Aeng) and Saphan Kwai Agogo Bars.

Nowadays I'm very selective in cheonging. Must have a good feel for the girl before going for the full works. Hardware old liao so cannot any how full throttle the engine too often.

Tks bro. I guess just stay put at Silom. Staff suggested the heritage boutique hotel apartment.

Hate to travel by bts or taxi in BKK after work. Too crowded. Anyway if any good brother would like to Cheong after long days of work, pm me ya. Will be there after 8th

I plan go 6 days in feb.. maybe hit Patts and then back to BKK. My longest trip so far 5 days.

we have regular meet ups that consist of sillyporeans,french,brits,yanks.. ( all residents )
its all dinner , follow up some bar or whatever...
so will post all the info if there is a meet up.. these days we have been gng to korean town for korean food.. 1 week abt 3 times...
