has anyone been to THE ARTIEST at 99 duxton road? i'm planning to go try it out.. but i heard there like ghost town, and i'm unsure of the "fun" i get there. Can anyone one of u guru guide me

Bro, long time never cheong with you liao. Yesterday was with Dayview at NG, so just sms you as your gal was sitting with me. Paiseh, I felt a bit awkward as I know she is your gal. Never expect her to sit with me.

There was a spot check yesterday as from what I understand, they now have KTV rooms, maybe to prevent illegal workers.

The number of singers have reduced alot, no more like last time during 'pai pai chang' can see many faces.

From what you have posted, I totally agree with you. No point because of ger create unhappiness among us.

Our main objective is to drink and enjoy... Whether got gers or not, to me is secondary but to some brothers out there is primary. Different pple have different objective when we come out to cheong. But never because of gers, we create problem among ourselves.

In one joint, there are so many gers... It is whether you have the bullet (money) to support them or not. If you have, even if you go once a month and is the last customer she knows, she will hang on to you and never let go until they go back home (China). Hahahaha... But of coz, if you know that ger belongs to one of your brothers, then try not to touch but can support. Just like what Brother CX75 had done. Reason for me to say that, is some people might not like and because of that, problems will come. Then this will become a neverending issues again.

If the joint you go does not have the kind of gers you are looking for, then go some other joint lah. Singapore got so many HFJ, tio bo!!! Can always jio or arrange to go or explore other joint for fun, hunting, etc.

Cheong Brother must always have and maintain the cheong spirit. To me, the most important cheong spirit which I always try maintain are:-
1) Drink, happy and enjoy the moment;
2) Support brothers whenever you can / comfortable;
3) Never betray SBF brothers;
4) Never spread / leak information to gers out there;
5) Never touch own brothers gers unless permission given by the brother or so call "boyfriend".

Anyway, these are my 2 cents worth of advice.. Hope brothers out there dun ZAP me even if you don't agree... Hahahaha....

Generally agree with you. Hope that bros out there do not assume that someone will leak out info just becos he talk to or call those gers phone. Many times it just chatting and topics never on any bros here.

Been down there with bro DV about two weeks ago. But that time there was a singer doing show so we din sit down as we saw flowers keep flooding forward. only spent two minutes there before going off. If you wan, can check with DV when he likes to go down again.

well fun usually depends on how you click with the singer. sofa there is ok. and i think only 1 singer is ok song wise. the other time during the show damn funny. singer mouth close but then still have people singing. so i guess it is either pre-recorded or the singer just lip sing.

beer aint cheap there though. last time went there if not wrong its 54 per jug.

Hahaha.. It okie lah. Doesn't matter. You are my brother mah and she will come to say hello to you or any brothers who had cheong there with me before. But if there isn't any singer there with you, she will sit there unless you have your regular with you.

Heard the boss chase some of the singers away as the singers can meet the boss requirement, etc.

Can't go there so often now adays, it time for them to earn a living on their own.. hahahaha... Joking lah.. Told her that I won't be going down so often unless there are shows and need support. Else, I will be either at home or go other places.. Next time jio you...

Yesterday the show so so only lah.. Nothing interesting..
