"Tock" That was the sound made by my room's door when it was locked, and yes, Jasmine has locked the door.

Jasmine sat on the bed as I was still puzzled on why see required to close the door and lock it.

Jasmine looks on the floor and lightly taps on the bed: Lawrence, over here.

I walked over and sat beside her.

Jasmine did not lift up her head and just spoke in as calm and soft voice: Are you really going to be my dad's God Son? It will make things complicated.

Actually I knew that too, but I decided to tease her a little.

Me: Complicated meh, I think ok lah.

Jasmine: Then what will all our relations be like?

Me: Huh?

I was abit shocked by Jasmine's sudden confession. ( well, that coming from Jasmine? Never saw it coming)

She turned and looked at me, maybe she was expecting an answer from me, I think.

I got up and opened the door immediately, both Felicia and Ann were at the door.

I explained to Felicia on what Jasmine spoke to me about, (off course without the confession part) and they joined in the discussion. I told them that actually I was not keen on it, as I was concerned that Jasmine and Ann's Father would mention the "poor and needy" program to my parents. The girls agreed, we were thinking of a good reason for me to declined Jasmine and Ann's Father's offer. My pager beeped.

The girls looked at me, and I could feel that they must have thought is was Evon.

However it was a unfamiliar number with a 99 keyed behind it. Which meant it was urgent in our days.

The girls followed me as I returned the call after taking the cordless phone, they were all quiet listening to whom was paging me.

It turns out to be Ah Kai and he wants to meet up with me.

I told the girls wat happened, and I really needed to meet Ah Kai as I did not know what he plans to do, and as a buddy I can't help but worry.

Jasmine was not at all sympathetic about Kai: Huh that plaster face also can two time?

I did not really care about their comments, and told them I needed to go.

We walked to the station together, as I was going to AMK to meet Ah Kai. Felicia wanted to take the train with me instead of the bus she normally took.

Felicia: Idiot, need me to follow you or not?

Me: Mai lah (don't lah)

Felicia pouts: Why leh?

Me: My buddy got 2 timed, I bring girl go not nice right.

We Parted ways and I took the train to AMK alone, reaching the station I saw Ah Kai waiting for me.

I did not know what Ah Kai wanted to do but I still followed him up a bus and reach a housing estate in AMK. (Blk 100 Plus I remember) and we sat at the void deck of Evelyn's home.

That was the time I knew Kai was waiting for Evelyn and there will be a confrontation .

Evelyn was with a guy, And I saw her pulling the guy away after hearing Ah Kai's shout. I chased after Ah Kai, but when I reached them. The guy was standing in front of Evelyn, and him and Ah Kai was having a confrontation. Their hand were on their sides clenching their fist, with their chest up as they glared at each other both tilting they heads slightly showing the arrogance that they had.

Ah Kai: Evelyn, Who is he?

Evelyn did not answer and was trying to pull the guy away.

Guy pointing himself with his thumb: I am Evelyn's Bf? Who are you?

Ah Kai: I also her Bf leh

Evelyn I want to break with him (referring to Ah Kai) already.

Ah Kai was angry, as I saw him walking up close to the Guy.

Ah Kai: Evelyn you want, you take, but now Lim bei kwah lu buay song, Jio lu 1 on 1 (I don't like you face, I challenge you for a fight)

There was no countdown , as the 2 started their brawl with the guy swinging his fist at Ah Kai. Punches were exchanged in split seconds, and both seemed not willing to lose this fight in front of Evelyn. Ah Kai was gaining the upper hand, he manage to force the guy down to the ground. The unexpected happened as the guy took a pen knife a swung it at Ah Kai, there was blood, as the guy cut Ah Kai on the arm. I ran forward and started attacking the guy, trying to get him away from Ah Kai whom was holding his arm.

Ah Kai pulled me in the midst of the fight and asked me to run.

Ah Kai: Yang, Mata Chia!! (Police Car)

We ran a few blocks away and up the stair case where we could catch our breath.

Ah Kai: Eh Yang, Thanks.

Me: knn Look after yourself lah, you bleeding leh.

Ah Kai: You also bleeding.

It was funny that only when Ah Kai told me and I saw my wound, That I felt the pain. (yes I was also cut by that guy)

We hid ourselves for a while and was sure that the police were no longer around, before we looked around for a minimart where we bought plasters for our cuts.

We took the first bus we saw and left the area, Ah Kai bought me dinner and it seems he had given up on Evelyn after that fight as during Dinner he asked me this question.
