If u can deposit 500K SGD in Vietnam bank, guess u have abt a million SGD. If u have this money, why dun u think of better use?? Instead putting in Vietnam and seeing VND dropping everyays??? And with this money, why dun get a financial consultant to manage your wealth???

First of all, I dun trust the local Vn bank...there is just too many banks in Vn and consolidation is definitely going to happen in the future...if you want to remit sgd half million into Vn sure they will be very happy...however money goes in can be hard to come out...plus what bro Naemlo said the dong will depreciate 5% per year and your money will gets smaller and smaller...and in 10 years time, your money there will depreciate by 50%...also bro Naemlo mentioned why dun you consider other investment options such as...property, business, etc...

Property in hcm is a good investment.

where is the best place to change VND in sg? is the rate better in sg or in HCMC?

Change a bit in HCMC airport, then change again with goldsmith.

BTW need your advice... I have like 2 million sing dollars in spare change lying around. Thinking of throwing it all into vietnam. Whats the best investment? Fix D earn interest? Open KTV?...
