Yup, I'm fine now, though my tooth sometimes a bit sensitive when I drink. Hahah just got to live with that I guess.

Actually I'm going on 21 after work. Back on 24. Staying at Biz. Nvr tried it before. Wanted to get zest at first, but not being able to book grab from there was a bit of a minus for me.

If we are fated to meet (most likely Harbour Bay)..we can perhaps go to Go Go supermarket at Harbour Bay to buy the Sensodyne repair and protect toothpaste ,it will help with your tooth sensitivity (when drinking cold water).

I shall explain to you later becos i have a similar issue as you a long time ago with the almost similar accident. I no longer have that problem now.

From Zest,i dont bother using Grab or Gocar when the taxi fare is now 30k to 35k rupiah,hehehe...can save me quite a bit of time that way. And on the way back to Zest,it will be easier getting Gocar.

Biz is a fairly good hotel anyway,hehehe...very close by to Utama area. Sort of like the middle of Nagoya Hill Mall and DC Mall. What type of room did you get?

(coming from Biz front door,turn left and walk straight to the next building ,there is a shop name Swee's selling very nice curry puff at about S$0.30 each)

It is impossible to make everyone (and i truly mean Everyone) happy. If i were to try to make everyone happy, work wont be able to progress as smoothly. Which is why while listening to suggestion,i am also doing things mainly prioritize on "me,myself and i",hehehe....

This is how i travel to Batam today :

1. I go to harbor front,grab my free horizon ferry ticket from the counter and head for Harbor Bay ferry terminal.

2. Reach Harbor Bay,step out of arrival hall and the hotel's taxi driver waiting outside will bring out an A4 signboard with my name on it and i follow him to board the taxi to head over to the hotel i booked, hehehe...safe and free.

3. I reach hotel, change my money,and then start to plan my walk-about. Starting from 3 meals to buying my combat ration to getting girls etc.

Notice i dont go by my own beginner Batam guide anymore? And i dont write my above 3 steps inside my guide. Thats becos what applies to me no longer applies to newbie anymore. (one of these days,i might be able to do away with hotel accommodation in my trips too,hehehe...as i am aiming for zero rupiah Batam travel)

Apparently batam has their equivalence of our forum. Reviews and reports from the locals themselves. Very direct, clear and objective. Unlike us. Alot of tcss. Well if u know their language, the following will benefit u

Hmm...looking at M1 Hotel at Harbour Bay now...there is a big banner saying its staying rate is going at 350k rupiah a night with all tax inclusive,hehehe...online booking cost about the same too (S$33 or so for their most basic room).

i may probably just book a nearby hotel and later walk in to check their rooms out. The good,as a 2 starred hotel,they have electric kettle and a mini fridge,hehehe...not exactly a 2 star hotel tho,perhaps they are almost a 3 star.

Starting to plan my Sept 2018 trip,hehehe...
