With money semua bisa. Esp in Indon. Afterall just a sijil. One can still take pork. Muslim in name only. Just to please the girls family n relatives. Like wat my pious Muslim friend told me. Believing in God is a very personal thing. God is watching. Ren cai chuok..tian cai kan. But of course tis apply to practising righteous Muslims.
Actually getting married is not tat expensive in those kamp kamp area. I witnessed one at Sumatra late 90s. Saw they exchange gifts. Simple gift like Quran...praying mat...prayers beads etc Pesta...a simple n budget feast. Below 10 juta
S$1000 only? Dont wish to circumcise. Got such lobang bro?
Short time / sortem: 1 shot or 1 hour whichever earlier.
Long time / booking / boking: can be
i. Overnight / unlimited shots
ii. Overnight / 3 shots (eg. Bunga Massage, where the mami ever told the customer in front of me to add money to the girl - if girl agree - if want more shots)
iii. Can be overnight or 2 shots (typically freelancers over wechat or girls from Morena chain joints where the okt themselves will tell the girl to "run" when completed 2 shots.
It all depends. Best is to book from legit joints and clarify with the okt or if booking from wechat, just take short time and lock all valuables. At most times, don't be surprised that the person replying you is not the girl, but okt himself.
The few money changers at Harbour Bay outside few meters from Harbour Mart has close down,i think its due to some renovation work. Taxi from Harbour Bay to most parts of Nagoya,Penuin etc going at 30k rupiah,hehehe...nothing new,but anyone knew about the aftermath effect it had on the industry?
Taxi and ojek touting suddenly become way lesser than usual. I used to hear taxi driver/s and ojek/s asking me if i need their service once every min on average but this time round, walking for over 5 mins around the area, nobody ask me those,hehehe...i mean,if ojek gonna cost about 20k rupiah from Harbour Bay,then why not take a taxi from front desk taxi stand at 30k rupiah?
I dont mean taxi touting has completely stop but at least the frequency is now much lesser in Harbour Bay,hehehe...good news for tourists (projecting a better and cleaner image). No need to be constantly "pestered" by them.
Pesta is not dowry, bro. Maybe I was a bit unclear (i can get a bit long winded sometimes. Hahah) pesta is the wedding banquet, which cost sgd5k but is optional. Dowry is sgd500. Yes. Idr5m which is sgd500. That was what my previous batam gonna-be-gf-but-didnt-happen told me. Unless I remember wrongly. Cause I remembered I laugh when I heard this and compared to sg.
I see, thank you for taking the time to explain. Now i got a clearer picture,hehehe...i think not many could win me when it comes to being long-windedness online.

I dont know about others, but i find Batam's temptation is too high for girls who are young. So,if i am in my friend's situation,i would prefer my so call wife-to-be to stay put in her hometown.
And if i were to buy a new home in her hometown, surveillance camera and internet connection (wireless and wired LAN) for the home is a MUST,hehehe...

So either u have to fork out a big first instalment, or you have to pay generally about sgd2-3k per month.
Very huge difference from local buying properties
Thanks again for the info, will look into that part when the time comes for me to buy a property in Batam.
That remind me of two things,
1 is like your profile pic, the carrot head
2 is like a kambing being potong into pcs in kampong
160juta
I hope the bro who PMed me read this one above. Becos i agreed with your 2 pointers,as i have that feel when i hear of the 160 juta.

As for dowry, is up to indiviual, Rp500k also can. Not standard rate. Only one thing is better to have, Seprangkat alat sholat.
Sincerely thank you for the above information.

Commitment included thereafter too. Imagine the relatives, the in-laws and later the baby/babies etc etc...too time consuming. Others may look at it as a long term investment tho,but well....hehehe...not so much for me.

Wah bro, I've been to batam numerous times (once every 2 or 3 weeks) but could never get that for a trip from harbourbay to anywhere. Although i usually request to go windsor. Is that why? Everytime it's 60k or 80k (funnily can't remember). And when ask for lower, they will say it's fixed and show me some table.
