Applied for the Thaipass in the morning and confirmed same night.
Make sure that you have printed copies of everything required for entry at the airport as showing phone copies is not currently accepted.

Pre departure PCR test in SG is not required by Thailand side upon arrival in Thailand, but is it required by our VTL Airlines when leaving SG? I am not so clear about this requirement.

not required. it is specifically stated in SIA website that it is only applicable till 31 Mar 22

Negative Covid-19 RT-PCR medical certificate issued no more than 72 hours before the scheduled time of departure of the flight, if aged 6 and above (Applicable until 31 March 2022)

The hotels for PCR test/ airport pickup charges anything from $120-$200 addition on top of the room.
Any good recommendations and if in a group the transport should be cheaper right since they dun need one vehicle for each guest

Just came back from my 10 days trip sian anyway here is what happened for me for my trip.

26 Mar 2022

After clearing immigration at BKK airport, they didnt ask me to download the Morchana app and just went down to the main area and turn left where all the hotel reps were there to wait for pickup. Luckily for me i did not have to wait for my rep maybe because there was long queue when i was queueing for passport to be chopped.

Entered the pickup van and went to Bangpakok 9 hospital drive thru at around 12.36pm for the RT-PCR test. Seems like they are not really strict with it because they only poked my left nose once and thats it and gave me the ART kit and asked me to do so on Day 5.

Reached hotel at around 1pm and was in line waiting to be checked in to the quarantine room. When it was my turn, i asked if they could expedite my results as i have a flight the following morning at 7.30am and the recep told me its up to the hospital and not them so maybe i cant get the results in time and it made me panicked damn.

Checked into the room and was watching TV + playing my phone game to past time until around 5pm i emailed the hospital to ask if they could get the results for me earlier and they said i did my test in the hotel and not there wtf. However, they replied that they would try to get my results asap due to my morning flight. Email came in at 6pm stating that the admin needs to knock off from work and last checked the results were still not out.

At 7pm, i called the hotel recep to ask and thank god the results were out already but they didnt inform me beforehand. Also, after the results are out we actually can have guests join the room but they did not tell me that so i double booked the hotel for nothing but oh wells.

Day 5 did my ART test but they didnt give me any link to upload the test results.

For the PDT, went to medconsult to do so. its at level 3 of the RQ club (smaller road on the opposite of the building). When you are there, there are 2 counters (left for the admin & right for the payment), go to the left one straight and let them know you have made an appointment at the timing already if not you will be asked to sit at the waiting area to be called. Print out the documents of your info and head to the right counter for payment (500 baht) and go to the respective room to do ART. Results out within 5mins and cleared.

Hopefully they can change the PCR test to ART because the wait is not fun at all hahaha

It is one guest per vehicle.
