You are correct in guessing, but her name is "Yoong" as many are confused with Vietcong spelling and pronunciation.

There are 2 different "d" in Vietnamese language:
(1) "d" with a bar like this đồng, pronounced as "d" like English "d" thus the Vietnamese currency is pronounced as "dong"
