That one in the photo was planned and meant to be a shopping mall, even from the start. Now back to Zouk, it's in Sei Panas area. This area is not too popular with cheongster, except for that closed down Club Coin. Which also not many cheonster from here would like to visit because not much kangtao there wan (no known to have FLs). 90% of their customers are local, most of them Chinese. Now with Zouk, the entertainment trend now in Btm is going towards the live bands concept clubs. Looks like the disco will slowly die off (however, I personally hope it won't) due to the tight restrictions on drugs/XTC. Even the old Sphinx is planning to convert their disco hall into a live band concept club. We shall see how Zouk will fair in the next few months.
