Huizhou / Danshui (DS) Recommendations

Paiseh, I forgot one direct way to travel from HongKong International Airport to DS. That’s by Eternal East (EE永东) Bus for the three hours journey that will take you to New Regent Hotel (as well as other hotels in DS – please check) and cost about HK$200. I have taken this many times and the bus usually (although not all the time) goes through the very quiet Sha-Tou-Kok border crossing (and therefore great during weekend without the crowd like at Lowu crossing) to the east of SZ. However, very often and depending on the number of passengers, you may get transfer to a smaller van or MPV after the China’s Immigration&Customs checkpoint for the trip to DS on the new Expressway. I found it usually quite efficient and have made the whole trip under 3hrs, although the service may vary since the MPVs used appear to be private sub-contractors. This is probably the easiest option for bros visiting DS for the first time and traveling from HKIA.

There is no direct coach to Danshui from Gongbei.

What I meant is you have to cross the border to Gongbei first from Macau.

As I am residing in Guangzhou, most of the Long Distance Bus terminal has coaches to Danshui costs about 70rmb.
From the Airport you can enquire which Express bus stops near any of the Long Distance bus terminals.

Not really, the guangzhou games starts early July. First, raid the drug & gamble. Now raid the sauna, ktv...The raid will last for 1 month.

Bro, i think is Asian Games, not SEA Games, SEA = South East Asia. There's also gonna be a World University Games to be held in Longgang. MRT building, and property prices sky rocketing.

I will be in Huizhou 2-3 week of July. Anybody could give me some advice, or even better maybe a tour?

I've researched this forum inside out - and it seems that without a local guide, it will be harder for me (westerner)... Any help would be appreciated.
