Well, we lost, but I actually feel much better than the previous weeks when we won (cos Scum came back to win too).

great game for the neutrals but it saddens me to score 4 away goals and not go through.

also 20 years ago we lost 96 lives..RIP and YNWA.

the most disgusting dive from him was when he landed outside the field..then rolled back on realising play hadn't stopped yet.
These are the sorta antics that are stopping him from being world class.

I dun know why Rafa prefers skrtel than agger? IMO, agger is much better in defence and going forward. More over Mr skrtek has not been playing well for the last few games

overall i prefer Skrtel cos he has better communication with Carra and Pepe.
Agger is fantastic going forward but for a tall player, i have to question his aerial abilities.

I prefer Skrtel cos he's very no nonsense. He clears the ball at every opportunity. Agger tries to dribble out of the danger. If Agger gets caught, it's bad for us. I also think Skrtel will dive into hard challenges while Agger may not. Skrtel is quite a strong hardcore defender.

Given our strengths in picking gems in this position (think Hyypia, Skrtel, Agger), I think we should sell Agger and replace him with another quality unknown. Just like how we seem to be able to buy good goalkeepers consistently, I think we can find a cheap and great centreback with ease.

the Reds also need to scout for a striking partner for Torres else with him and Gerrard out of action...Reds always find it difficult to score.
the match against Chelsea is one of the exception.

the blatant diving only happened in the 2nd half. hiddink, i m sure, is responsible for it. i m so glad that malouda is not with liverpool. he is made of paper and seemingly devoid of any conscience.

but not to take anything away, it was a great game. all credit to chelsea for not sitting back and defend in numbers when 3-2 up. else, liverpool would most likely go thru.

agreed. agger cannot even hope to be the defender skrtel is. and agger thinks he is alan hansen, always trying to dribble up the field or making 50 yard defence-splitting passes. he only puts the defence in jeopardy or waste possession. yes, aggers scores once in a while... but as a centreback, i would prefer someone who does the primary job well first.

and who do u have in mind, a good striker, who would be willing to sit on the bench and wait for his chance? eto'o is my favourite, but i dont think he would want to sit on the bench too much. put him in right wing??? dont think i want to negate the kuyt presence cos he is too valuable on the right flank.

and i would sceptical of anyone decent coming in... who would want to be on the bench??? thus, think the only viable way is to develop babel and n'gog. n'gog in particular, is built and plays like torres. so, he should slip into the system well. just my personal 2 cents.

Lucas scoring best thing in the world

Striker wise, I think we need someone who is flexible - can play as centre forward if Torres is injured or link up when Stevie is injured, or support striker in a 4-4-2. That would solve the problem of benching and also give us good options.

Babel is already whining about not enough playing time. I can't believe he thinks that he has improved. At many times this season, he seemed to be playing for the opposition. OK he has made some contributions as well but been far too inconsistent even as a sub.
