Bros, anyone would like share the experience on BATS in the Shangri-La Hotel and CJs in Mulia Hotel. Some comments in internet indicate there are many quality FLs in these two bars. Thanks!

For a first timer in Jakarta,what are the best recommendation to go for? Alot of of choices! Alexis, 1001, delta spa, fortune spa, moliboro, etc etc!

Stopped by a few places today, predictably closed for Idulfitri, but I was doing the rounds anyway.

BATS bar at Shangri La is closed, opening tomorrow (Tuesday)

Travel hotel is closed, opening on Thursday (if they guards outside got it right in their limited English).

Does anyone know when other venues (Classic, King's Cross etc) will reopen?

All these places have websites and phone numbers of people you can call to confirm. My guess is they should be back to Business on Thurs.

Not sure about the closing and opening dates for all the joints. I was in Jakarta on 22 June and joints were closed, at least I went delta, fortune n my place to check it out. Then I went to restaurant, potato head seating by the bar, the bartender best to party after 2 July. Everything will be in full swing again.

Sometimes it's really lonely to work overseas and not able to find real soul mates for drinks.

You can try Alexis, fortune spa and delta spa...first....cannot go wrong for a first timer...safe bet lah...personally.
