I sometimes pop over to JB and have some suggestions for drivers...
think of me as kaypoh

if you already know

1. walking quickly /quietly when moving from point to point
look around before leaving your car
plan the route you are taking, take note if any persons start walking to catch up

2. park your cars at shopping centres or car park with automatic systems
the car thief will need the ticket to exit car park with your car
places with the plastic tickets are best.. they are more difficult to duplicate than paper tickets

remember the price of paid parking is much lower than the value of your car ..and now COE!!

3. quickly get in and drive off when leaving, don,t waste time sitting in the car
remember... your SG car plate gives you away

4. Keep all the valuable stuffs ie laptop, handbag inside the boot.
5. Dont drive Branded car inside ie. Honda Civi, Lexus, BM...etc
6. Money distributing into diff pockets and pouch.
7. Dont show off yourself ! be humble.

If I am a regular to JB (4-5 times a week), is it worthwhile to buy a 2nd hand Malaysian vehicle for driving in JB only? Can it be done?

how you get there? by cab by bus? u need a gurrantor or you are working or investor there? or may be you deposite 1mil in May Bank? u may hv a chance?

Me Always Prepare Rm300 to pay them, when wrong just pay and settle.
Compounded fine is Rm300, pay them off. Quick and simple.

Take the summon and pay to the counter in 7 days can get 50% discount...

yes, i had paid once for parking offend, summon me Rm30 for wrongly use of parking coupon, went down to the office along the coast line and explained plus nego with the counter lady! finally i have 50% disc and just pay 15 to close the case.
after paying, one of friend in MY told me if we drive SG plate car we can just ignore the summon, the carpark agency couldn't do any thing on us? bcos we renew our road tax and insurance in SG! any bro here can clarify this?
