I need some answers, hope someone is able to help me. currently i am working in thailand but i dun wan to go through the hassle of getting a visa. wat can i do? i will be here about 1.5 months each trip. and i will be back in sing for a couple of days. mostly over weekends.

think the new rules is u cant stay more than 90 days within 6 mth period and not more than 180 days in a year.

So, if you are not excedding that, then by all means dun need visa lor. However, if you are going to exceed, then better do something about it. How...Mi also dunno, maybe the expert here can help you.

Um, the limits U R quoting is refering 2 the max length of time U k stay in Thailand 4 tat period & nt the length U k stay per time.
E.g. U stay in Thailand 4 30 days then U wil hav 2 do a visa run on the last day. U stay U k oni do a max of 2 visa run in six mths if U remain in Thai 4 30 days/stay.

If those want to move up to stay with tirak,but do not have business and self employed how? Any suggestions for them?

Tat's wha I wanted 2 knw (the ovrstaying procedure) 2 but I hav no tirak yet (& dun intend 2 hav 1). Why insisted on 1 tree when there is the whole forest??

Actually, tis is nt the main reason, I still believe there R gd fish among the numerous bad 1s in the pond. Most of the Thais R very devoted Buddhists & came in2 the trade bcos their family R 2 poor & selling themselves 2 support their families. Hwevr, most quickly pick up the bad habits of their counterpts such as taking drugs, gambling & the "easy" $$$ available so much so tat when "geniune" ppl wan 2 help them, they oso dun wan or tk them as suckers(, partly oso bcos of the numerous fake promises they rcv fm countless others).
I, personally, fell in luv w/ 2, hwevr, upon returning 2 Sg, I re-examine their every wrds, there R multiple loopholes in their every wrds & I oso asks fris who happened 2 visit Thai 2 sound them out & they hav another sets of stories & lies (they didn't knw we R "connected").
I'm neither rich nor wise enough 2 pick up some1 geniue fm the trade, hwevr, when cheonging, jus be more generous if their svc R gd since @ least their cause is more noble than most other nationalities who sold themselves jus 4 materialist.

Nt possible 4 me 2 tackle a "normal" Thai as I knt speak their lang, except 4 a few essential lines tat I pick up on my holiday trips.

Bro, sori, I missed out the line tat U R nw in Thai (i presume BKK). If U wish 2 extend yr visa, pls visit the Office of Immigration Bureau located @ "Soi Suan Plu, off South Sathorn Road, Bangkok 10120" 2 file an application for permission. U k call "02 287-3101-10" or "http://www.immigration.go.th" 4 more info.

Fees: unknown (~B$2000 after searching forums. Its ovrprice due 2 kopi $$ as approval is @ the discretion of the officer)

Documents: Yr passport & 3~4 passport size photos.
