They will only trace the confirmed cases. Those who visited the same place as them with SE records won't be contacted. But for GL, I'd assume if you went for the same WL as the confirmed case, then high chance you'd be contacted as well. Of course if you went earlier than he did then likely you also won't be contacted.

What you said just follows the logical consequences of the MOH contact tracing and ring fence protocol.

I believe source of transmission is still P&C under patient confidentiality rules. Those "inconvenienced" as you say are left to ask the party who had direct contact. A 'white lie' as they say is still feasible.

I believe MOH/government is not making this a fault based process and are well aware of the sensitivity with respect to this contact tracing and ring fencing protocol. The one and only aim is to effectively suppress and contain the spread of this virus.

That said, I would still like to hear from any samster who has recently gone through this MOH contact tracing and ring fence protocol.

I hope you are right. MOH would publish the location and the date and duration of the contact point. If I get a Q or SHN order, my family members or colleagues will most likely ask for details and it is not easy to tell a white lie to cover my trace.

Colleagues still can tell white lie, is have to inform hr and that is the issue. Any wrongful information provided to moh could face charges and even maybe faced dismissal when company knows one lie. Sian, when will end this ? I wan to piak piak.

What I say is based on what I have heard from Admin Service mates and also my understanding of medico legal patient confidentiality rights.

That said, it would still be very helpful to get first hand information from anyone who has recently experienced MOH contact tracing and ring fencing protocol.

As to the 'white lie', I can't help you when it comes to putting on a poker face but perhaps can think about directing the source of transmission to a previous linked case(within a reasonable time frame). Gather contact tracing is not that easy and takes time, which means there might be a lag. Also some unlinked cases may eventually turn into linked cases.

Also, play up being unlucky and unfortunate. I mean this is a global pandemic after all and the worse virus to hit the entire world since the Spanish Flu in the early 1900s.

Why does HR need to know the source of transmission? Do you need to inform HR of information which is covered by medical patient confidentiality rights? I should think an MOH LOA/SHN/QO should suffice.

Also why would there be any need to provide "wrongful information" and/or "lie" to MOH when it is MOH and its contact tracing personnel who have all the critical relevant information and consequently carried out the requisite contact tracing and ring fence protocol?

I think you also need to think of a different situation. If you or the WL got infected. Honestly, unless u bonk with masks, if u get virus high chance she will too. MOH will publish location of visits and anybody close contact woh you. Not big deal if there are 50 citizens in a day. If only a few citizens like recently, people can easily see which case you are based on the published age. And when they publish “25 year old Chinese female” was a close contact to you, questions will come up. Especially if a cat150 house is on the list of places visited. Even without safe entry, still risky for u scared bros.

Since when did MOH "...publish anybody close contact with you"?

For the actual infected cases, MOH rarely publishes any details on specific cases... exception would probably be for clusters...

Even in that apparent Wuhan FL infected case(some time ago) who was in a hotel in Geylang L14 amongst other hotels...no information was published with respect to close contacts/infected cases(if any)....

Also look at the latest MOH location list published yesterday, adding 30 locations...a widespread list... Mustafas also seems to be a recurrent location...

Btw I am not saying there are no risks...what I am saying is please let us stick to the facts...let us not get bogged down by fear mongering before making an informed decision...one way or the other...

I remembered just after CNY the okts already gave me a mask before entering the room and the WL already insisted I wore it throughout the session. It was very uncomfortable especially you are breathing in CO2 and is panting like crazy. The other things to note was no more bbbj but with a CD.
