best solution is not to take any cold drinks near to the date when ur menses is coming. Anyway, for my years of experiences, i have been taking evening primrose oil but still have been having cramps. My take is best is not to have cold drinks. It works for me.

There are some "xue wei" to massage to reduce the cramps. Place 2 fingers below your "Du Qi" n use your thumb or 2 fingers to press that area 100 times. After that place 4 fingers below your " Du Qi" n use your thumb/2 fingers to press that area 100 times. Saw this from tv, i tried once, it helps..
