2 years visa can means business visa, multiple visits within 2 years timeframe.
Or she obtain study pass for "studying a specialised and more expensive course"

have to think of the consequences too.

Communication?, money? cos she can't work in SG with LTSVP right?
need to wrok doubly hard to feed her and if got child later also headache..

not sure if she is able to get used to SG life.. also how about getting along with my families.. have to bring her out to meet friends and relatives also mah cannot everytime stay at home, cos she is gonna go mad as well.

get her to stay in Johor, their permits easier to get, and friendlier too since we are stricter than her. Then she can come over to Sg for as long as she wants, as long as she can stay in JB.

I m asking on behave of my fren, we work in same company.
My fren date this prc operator, they have been together for 1 year plus already.
She is going back China this January, after 4 years working here. ( contract end ).
My fren is depress now and dunno what to do, they haven’t married yet, and she is going back in this few weeks time.

Yes, they plan to marry, but in this shortest time, it look impossible.

Here are some questions
1.after she go back, is she allow to come back and stay here after this CNY ? what they need to do ?
-> she apply for visa in China, and come over here ? and stay for 14 days then after every 14days go to JB and come back here again ?
-> can he apply LTSVP for her or act as her sponsor here ? even thou they are only BF & GF relation ?
I heard of sponsor, but mean what ? and social visit pass mean what pass ?

What if she come back here, but after 14 days, will ICA ask her to leave ?

what is the proper way for them if they get married,
1. she come over here with visa after this CNY, then go ROM and apply LTSVP for her ?
2. in this case, higher chance for her to grant this LTSVP ?
3. Or, my fren fly to China, register there, and bring her here and then apply LTSVP for her here ?
Which is they best way ?

If register in China, need to translate the Married Cert, and endorse by whom ? what are the documents needed to bring back here ? and need to translate to Eng ?

My fren status, m’sian 4 years PR, diploma holder, work in same com 6 years.
Her status, forget what qualifcation, but work in Sg as operator 4 years.

Base on above, any big problem, I mean granting LTSVP or PR for her after marry ?

They shld get married in Malaysia or in China. Why in Singapore, with so many red tape?

Household booklet [戶口本]: The issuance of household registration, whether different people with different classifications can be registered on the same household registration and whether or not two separate 戶口 can be issued for the same address. I believe there are 2 types of classification, one is by residential location. The other not that sure.

now she going to end her working contract here, and going back China end of this month.
reason for marriage in Sg, bcos he want her come back to Sg as soon as possible.
what red tape ? since she no more working in SG, still need to go MOM ?

The foreign worker shall not go through any form of marriage, or apply to marry under any law, religion, custom or usage with a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident in or outside Singapore, without the prior approval of the Controller of MOM, while he/she holds a Work Permit, and also after his/her Work Permit has expired or has been cancelled or revoked.

Please ask her to call 65395321 [Marriage Screening Section] before contracting marriage in Singapore or elsewhere. Thank You.

Any singaporean or SPR above 21 years old can sponsor Asian foreigners for a period of up to 30 days, be it the relationship is of boyfrd/gerfrd, platonic friends, or others. LTSVP is only issued to spouse of Singaporeans/SPR, PDMMs, parents of foreign spouse > 55 years old in assistance in delivery. "S Pass" Holders is also considered LTSVP.
