this is the first purpose built hotel in batam, hotel Nagoya plasa was second; that's why the few blocks of ruko besides/behind hotel nagoya plasa is called lau Nagoya by the locals.

Last night I was talking to my company's chief mechanic. He's late in his 40s. I mentioned about going batam and he was a regular 9 years ago. He say he go there twice a month for years until 9 years ago all 4 kakis stopped abruptly.

I ask why? He said 1 of them tested positive for HIV.

These kind of stories can be so discouraging but nonetheless we should always practice safe sex. The affected guy got to know because he's a Malaysian and renew SG work permit found out. Immediately other 3 went to test and turn out negative. Uncle mechanic say that from then on, he never go raw till now. He say the few days waiting for result is the longest emotional days he had.

I wish i could,but your post appears a little late. By the time i see your posting,it is already the next following day. Anyway even if i have seen,i will be of little help to you as my knowledge on Batam is mainly on massage,overnight booking joint and perhaps a little bit on KTVs.

Totally agree with what you said. There are lots of "Sports" one can do in Batam to stay (keep)healthy when in Batam. (walking,bonking,treking,shopping,gym,swimming etc) More importantly,after "sports" can still go for some decently good massage to revitalizing oneself. Then will comes to eating,we all eat simple...no need to to every meal also exaggerating kind,eg sea food,expensive high-end restaurant.

Consider all the given option written by you and if i am in your position...,I will go on Sunday and applied a Monday leave. Reason,Sunday less crowded,less competition and it can be almost equates to more choices.

But if i am new and if i am not working on weekends,i will go on Sat and come back to Sillypore on a Monday (also applying a day leave) noontime. Reason is,i get 3D2N,to see more of Batam ,to see the busy and yet the quiet part of Batam on both weekdays and weekends. Best of both world in this scenario to help me gauge my future trips better if i happen to find a liking for Batam.

1. Info you need for papi is your hotel and room number if you arent with taxi.After that request them to send your girl to your room at your preferred time OR you can straight pick her up immediately to bring her to your room (even when your room isnt ready,just wait at lobby for a while). If you are going to joint with taxi,tell that to your taxi driver (get your taxi driver's number too). Most importantly,if you have special requirement for a girl,tell the papi/mami. Eg,no runaway,must do bbbj etc etc.i usually ask for those who "can work" (会做工) type. Most importantly,take a name card from the booking joint. If no name card take down papi/mami hp/tel number. I usually pick girl/s that shows interest in me and enquire from papi/mami if she "can work" (会做工) or not. Look-wise is not my priority but its good to have (so long not ugly).

2. If you couldnt check-in due to room not ready,you can still leave your bags at the reception. Ask them for your would-be room number and go ahead to "shop". (not to hunt but to "shop" becos hunting mostly occurs in disco,pub or night clubs etc in my perspective) "Shopping" time usually starts between 1215pm to 1245pm with you walking out of your hotel.
