Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally
KALOU: GOOD SPIRIT HEADING NORTH
There is no denying it's been a strange and difficult week at Chelsea, but Salomon Kalou insists this hasn't affected the team's readiness for the visit to Manchester United. 'Like always, it's difficult to go there,' said the Ivorian forward, adding: 'We have our target, we know what we have to do there.' While accepting it isn't the perfect time to visit Old Trafford, Kalou confirmed that the squad is raring to go. 'Everyone is in the same place, trying for the result,' Sala said. 'We're training hard and we're going there with good spirits.' Having drawn against United seven weeks ago at Wembley, we certainly already know plenty about Sir Alex Ferguson's men, and they will be lifted by the availability of Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Louis Saha. 'Every game is different,' Kalou maintained, 'and this is another game and we have to go and play there like normal, like we know we can and give everything for the result.' Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally
Bro Peter_North, sources revealed that Mourinho had become increasingly frustrated by Terry’s recent performances. Guess Mourinho had doubts on JT's fitness as JT was declared fit to play. Therefore he (Mourinho) had even raised the issue with the club’s medical department to see if they had an explanation, like double checking. So when centre-back JT heard what Mourinho had done he reacted furiously. That will only make JT feel that awful, it's like Mourinho didn't trust him at all. And the England star had heated exchanges with the Blues boss before and after Tuesday’s dire 1-1 Champions League draw at home to minnows Rosenborg. Such a bust-up, don't think JT's gonna speak Mourinho. But I just dunno why JT took it so negatively, I'm sure Mourinho was concern for the captain. I mean if a soldier isn't fit to go to war, why risk him yeah? (Of coz it's just a metaphoric example, but that my point) Of course the reason why Mourinho really checked with the medical staff was purely an assumption. But if Mourinho's intention was good; for the well being of JT and they fell off, then JT's bloody shallow...... P.S: List Of UPPEES is not in full due to the capacity limitation of the signature function (not be longer than 300 characters excluding BB Code markup). Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally
Ferguson hails Mourinho
Sir Alex Ferguson has paid a warm tribute to Jose Mourinho and claimed Avram Grant has a 'big test' on his hands trying to replace him at Chelsea, as the Blues prepare for Sunday's Old Trafford visit. Arsene Wenger has also spoken of his respect for Mourinho, though Liverpool's Rafa Benitez chose not to bury the hatchet. source: soccernet itz nice of other managers to pay tribute...although JM have conflicts wif most of them...sumtimes no need to be petty mah, over liao.

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally
The source that reported about the bust up between JT and JM is none other than The Sun. The Sun has a reputation for fabricating stories.
I can only see one reason why JT is not speaking up. JT has an interest in the club. JT signed a contract with Chelsea, and I believe it included clauses that would him a coach in Chelsea sometime at the end of his contract. So JT is not going to behave like Drogs, Lamps and others. JT is going to be in Chelsea for good. Moreover, JM is such an intelligent man in the dressing room. He had 101 ways to speak with JT about his fitness. |

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally
Guys, go read the exchanges in Chelsea Chat Room. The fans are revolting against Roman Abramovich. They utterly dislike Avram Grant, and some even labelled him a backstabber.
You will not see the Chelsea Fan Wrath in Old Trafford but the home game against Fulham. Every fan knows the Manager for Chelsea now is not Avram but ROMAN himself. It transpired that Ballack too had a bust up with Jose on the training ground, opening saying that he would never play for Jose. Don't know how true. Now Chelsea, of all players, appointed Saloman Kalou to speak on behalf of the players that "they're in the right spirit heading for" the Man Utd game. I think Roman & Co. lost the plot this time. |

i agreed tat Roman seems to be the manager of chelsea. the players seems like have backing by Roman and try to voice out too much tings. if this continue, we be another Real Madrid in the making. Every player juz play for themselves on the pitch and owner rulez everyting. yet again, if Roman leaves, Chelsea sure go into adminstration. dilemma.

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally
Seriously, I couldn't fucking take it anymore!!!!!!! It's disgusting for the way things are going at the moment..... I mean in the first two yrs of Mourinho tenure. It's apparent he had total control of the team's game preparation: tactics, style of play, formation, training regime, etc.
And looked what he gave us in the end. He tooked proper charge of the players, proper footballing decisions were made and he gave us the bloody fucking Premier League Title after 50 yrs and if that's not enough, we were the Champions the next season prior to winning the Community Shield. Then 'someone' decided: "Hey u should do this.... Maybe this should do..... With this player, that player will boost the club's ambition...... blah blah blah....." Seriously, it's like, wtf! There's no proper football decisions made here, bloody hell. I'm sure any football manager will be fucking pissed..... The best part: Looking @ Mourinho changing his style, playing with the kind of football ('samba' attractive) that someone wants and looking what fucking happened. The players aren't used to it at all, what attractive football!!!! It's fucking distrastrous football. Obviously, the change of style wasn't an footballing decision, it was 'commercial' decision. FUCK! Wasn't that obvious enough????? The style doesn't suit at all. Winning titles are important, period. Sexy football???? I could only think of teams who were victims of attractive football. First in the list is Newcastle when Gullit was in-charge, then in recent seasons Arsenal. Yes they were unbeaten, they won titles but was it effective in the long run. Hell NO! Real Madrid played attractive, worse, they tried playing out of this world fantasy football, did it work? You tell me.....! Newcastle played attractive, attacking football during Keegan's era.... did it won them titles...... YOU TELL ME...... I just don't understand.... why make the same grave mistakes made in the history of other football clubs..... I'm so FUCKING FUSTRATED!!!!!! We played efficient, fucking industrial and effective football and fucking won us titles...... 'Painting a pretty, perfect picture' was of no use, the Gunners definately knew. Look @ the Gunners now, are they playing attractive football; painting that perfect picture, crafting out beautiful goals? FUCKING NO! Now The Gunners are playing EFFICIENT, EFFECTIVE and to a certain degree, INDUSTRIAL football now. Hey sounds, familiar? Yes It's the football we (Chelsea) played in the first two seasons.... and yes I'm saying I have a strong feeling they'll win the title this season..... :hurt: Seriously, efficient, fucking industrial and effective football is fucking modern football. I'm so sorry about the ranting, just like any Chelsea fans, I'm fucking angry! ARRRRRRGH!!!!!!! NBCCB!!!!!!!! P.S: List Of UPPEES is not in full due to the capacity limitation of the signature function (not be longer than 300 characters excluding BB Code markup). Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally
WTF ??? What is going on at Chelsea ?
Grant is not even qualified to coach in EPL, let alone step into the shoes of Jose. This is really bad. I hope Man Utd do us a favour tomorrow to wake the farking sense up of Roman and Kenyon. Grant qualifications in doubt LONDON, Sept 22 (Reuters) - Former Israel national coach Avram Grant's qualifications to succeed Jose Mourinho as manager of Chelsea have been questioned by the English Premier League, spokesman Dan Johnson said on Saturday. 'We have written to Chelsea to remind them of these requirements regarding these qualifications,' he told Reuters. Johnson declined to add to the league's official position, but it was confirmed by UEFA spokesman William Gaillard that Grant has earned coaching and management qualifications only in his native Israel. Gaillard said there was a convention between UEFA and the English FA which requires Premier League club managers to hold a UEFA Pro licence. Chelsea have said Grant does not have one and will need special dispensation to manage the club for more than 12 weeks. The Pro licence requires 240 hours of study and usually takes a year to gain. The Premier League has granted extensions beyond a 12-week period of grace in certain cases. These have included former Newcastle United manager Glenn Roeder, who received an extension on health grounds, and current Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate, who was deemed to have had restricted opportunities to gain a licence. The Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill was also granted an exemption after undergoing a five-day refresher course. Grant has never held a manager's position in England and he has not been in a manager's job for five years. |

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally
I wasn't surprised jose ended up leaving, that it's all about chelsea and not jose so we move on.Having said that,it's not easy when you get constant heat from your employer or boss(have it in mind that the exit door is opened but maybe could take longer time for it to happen) then it means he was going to leave in the near future anyway.
But not a time anyone could tell until now,it was a disagreement though; Since Sheva was bought in there have been ups and downs for him cos Sheva haven't got regular place.Yes we had goal drought but to face it, it's all about your relationship with your employer as it was stated the decision was from Roman and jose respectively(maybe heat jose couldn't tolerate so he decided on his part also to move on). There were teams that didnt win anything last season, some also started shaky this season and just starting to pick up now but the managers are still there, bcos of the relationship, even martin jol would have left but was given a 6 game chance to save his job;i wont be shocked if anything happen after he must saved the 6 games. The fact remains you will still be in check and you have to be careful. If jose was told to save his job by winning games he would surely do that, there was no way the drought would have been permanent but it boils down to the relationship with your boss. Jose has alot of credit and would still get a good job somewhere else cos that man has esterblished himself on the surface, maybe roman is the problem?maybe his money?maybe jose?can't have 2 captains on a ship maybe?whatever it is but jose made it in a smaller team. So i dont doubt his quality "maybe tottenham would look at him as ramos truned down the job though he talked abt italy & spain last season as his future" however,i'm glad for the players he brought in that have pushed chelsea this far and the sqaud is quality, hopefully another sound coach will benefit from that and take us to the next level, cos we have EVERYTHING at chelsea and if he also wants to bring his own players cos every coach has 1 or 2 to bring in that they see as good, then that could be added quality;so we can continue great fight. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise to the other players to prove themselves cos the style of playing which critics are shanting about will change and better, if another man with quality comes in continue,i just hope Roman isn't the problem anyway. My concern now is a quality coach like Hindinkk and deschamp that are being linked.Hindink says he wants to come to England only with a national team for now,but Deschamp at Juve might not leave his job.Which ever way it goes, the rivalry continues among the top 4 jose or not at the helms. But Jose made us proud this far that we could contend for every title,in about a few weeks the jose/chelsea issue in the media would dry up so we(chelsea) have to forget about the past and move ahead as it will take critics and rival teams/fans weeks or probably months to meet us ahead(forgetting the issue) cos it's the talk of the town now. You can only carry the news of an important man and i know the press would make money from their sales of the news and probably would miss that week in week out, lets see their new vitim now;and some would wish jose story goes on and on..haha(I understand..He's arrogant right?) But the man is gone now.Good the season is still long and perhaps someone else can fit in quickly(Sheva and ballack this could be the time you guys have been waiting for, show what you have now) Well the funny part is if Grant stays there, then i'm sorry it would mean Roman is the problem bringing in his friends and they will keep causing problems like it happened now caused bcos of Sheva and maybe grant would make get the Kenyon sack also if he tries to replace him. Roman should be the problem.Maybe he should take it the job himself since he knows too much.If grant stays there i dont know, maybe he has sometime good but would surely have time on his side to stay longer cos he's roman's friend. After all wenger wasn't that great coach till he took asernal,so grant had better be good else?? Good luck jose,we love you and would never forget you as you have written some piece on history in the club's existence;your name would remain in the English history as 1st FA cup winner manager and chelsea 1st team winner.History will also remember your name even in death and your beloved chelsea. Thanks alot, more success ahead, Mr Mourinho! |

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally
I will definitely miss Jose sorely, and so will the media.
To me it feels like relegation, and with Jose at the helm that surely would never have happened. Next to that... who is Grant and what has he done to impress the Chelsea board to let him take the job? Abramovich must prefer not to win anything this season. Maybe he should walk out, or at least take his hands off any tactical/ managerial decision footballwise. |

Re: Chelsea FC - Supporters' Rally
José's gone - a bad day for most Chelsea supporters, an even worse day for the English media. Whom are they going to write about?
As for why José has left, everything is speculation. Was it the pressure by Roman? Did he simply have enough? Or did he just think that he had done all he could, not going to better his record? One can think of José whatever he wants, but surely, he will be sorely missed. He was a character, an egomaniac at times but always extremely loyal to 'his' players at the same time. He gave us the best interviews (when he turned up), made us laugh, made us angry, made us speechless... Chelsea FC? This season? Hard, very hard, if not impossible, to tell. Some might think (hope) they are going to finish in the UEFA Cup places, but I don't think we can possibly say how the team is going to react. Personally, I might well believe that the squad is going to 'show' Roman what huge mistake he made letting him go, by upping their game, and starting winning. They do have the quality, whatever one's view of Chelsea. As for now, it's all speculation. Everything. So let's wait and see KEEP THE BLUE FLAG FLYING HIGH! |
