Re: Tottenham Hotspur - the Pride of London

bro castrol, the listed players, i suppose there is one player which is forgotten.

Serhiv Rebrov, sheva's partner in D.Kiev.
he suppose to be a gd striker which he performed in Kiev.
Spurs bought him based on this i supposed. but he dun seems appear frequently.

i tot he could a success as he and sheva partnership was lethal in ukraine.
but he cant produced anyting in spurs and thus was sold rite?

Actually bro, I rate Rebrov quite highly. He had pace, worked wonders with the ball and has a good attitude. Its just that Hoddle would opt for a different partnership which i think is a shame coz Rebrov is class. I reckon, given the oppurtunity, He would be a great player for us. He shoudlve given time to adapt coz in my opinion the toughest league to adapt to is the EPL. Look at these players who has yet to establish himself in England: Shevchenko, John Dahl-Tomasson, Hernan Crespo, Adrian Mutu, Pierluigi Casiraghi, Stephan Guivarch, Djibril Cisse and the list goes on and on...even Drogba was crap when he first joinned Chelski, but look at him now, after 3 seasons...a class act. But there are players who only plays well in england coz it suited their play...example, Anelka - rubbish in Spain, Turkey and France but top class in England. Same goes to Bergkamp....rubbish at Inter....godlike at ARSE-anal.

Good result for Spurs considering that they had a few matches within a short period and the midweek disappointment in the UEFA cup.

as putrawk put it, rebrov was not given time and games. imho, he's a bit like the great beppe signori from lazio, small guy but is always capable of turning from the defender and making a strike.

spurs paid a ransom for him then, but had no patience to hone his skills.

With Arsenal in crisis, Spurs have a better chance of winning tomorrow.

Good luck Spurs.

Good odds. May shorten tomorrow if/when confirmed Fabregas is out.

Hope Spurs start to get the 4 wins needed for UEFA Cup qualification next season with Arsenal tomorrow.

well bro it was happy hour and smooth sailing until fabregas came on in the 2nd half. he was even voted the man of the match for his awesome display and superb passing. this guy is really pulling the strings for arsenal in the engine room now.

spurs 2 (keane, jenas)
arsenal 2 (toure, adebayor)

Robbie Keane of Tottenham celebrates in front the Spurs faithful after scoring against London rivals, Arsenal.

The full gravity of the task faced by the fourth official can be observed. He is basically used as a verbal punch bag for both managers who blame him for every decision made.

Fabregas. Another world class player in the making. Only shortfalls are his physique and temper.

yes he is still considered "light-weight". rosicky and fabregas are both very creative but rosicky is often used in the wings which is not his preferred position. i am sure rosicky will score more if used in the middle of the park.

PFA Premier League Team of the Year 2007
Edwin van der Sar, Gary Neville, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra (all Man Utd); Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Cristiano Ronaldo (all Man Utd) & Steven Gerrard (Liverpool); Didier Drogba (Chelsea) & Dimitar Berbatov (Tottenham)

Congrats to Berbatov (only player outside the top 4) to make it into the EPL team of 2007. His efforts are recognized.

perhaps robbie keane should be selected too, he's scoring in nearly every game now and he's going to be a spurs legend.
