Male and females have weaknesses for we are not immortals.

Would it be possible to separate the sexes? Almost impossible, for the muslims had tried and history is replete with such failures. It results only in sexual repression and leads to explosive conclusions.

Should quality interaction be denied because of such weaknesses on either party? I know not the answer though i believe it should not be for we need to grow progressively from one generation to the next in terms of knowlegde.

We have to make a choice,- to be part of civilisation, adhering to its rules that set us above the animals of the wild, or to become beasts that howls towards the moon and be hunted down for being a danger to civilised society.

Once you make that choice, you will be able to solve your own predicament. Teaching is a noble profession, takes much sacrifice and is a beacon of light to a young and confused soul. Do it right and you will have the respect of all singaporeans, if not the entire mankind.

Do it wrong and it will only takes a few sacrificial victims to hunt you down and destroy you.

Its OK to up them, you won't be charge by criminal court - by the government - unless they get you for some law relating to negligence for work.

BUT

The student and her parents can still bring a civil suit against the teacher for emotional damages done - since the teacher has a duty of care. I think Singapore Courts won't look kindly upon a student predator and will probably BOTAK him.

It make takes years before the student becomes emotionally mature to realise that damage was done to her, then she will sue him. And think where our aspiring young teacher might be. He may even be an MP by then for all we know.
