All I can remember about Guangxi is that most of the gals are short but busty. And they speak a dialect that is 70% close to Cantonese. So if you are a Canto speaker, u would understand the local dialect.

BTW go Nanning, enjoy the city, the entertainment. I enjoyed myself in Nanning. A smaller city, less human n car traffic compares to Shanghao, GZ or other 1st tier cities. Cheaper beer n gers.
