Re: sian condom burst....
If this happens to you, and you are really concerned about contracting HIV, you can go to DSC and request for PEP treatment. It's a combination of medications that may (to some extend) prevent you from becoming HIV-positive. The treatment lasts for 28 days, and may come with some adverse effects, such as nausea, diarrhea. PEP treatment should be requested within 72 hours of the 'incident'.

Re: sian condom burst....
don't worry too much lah, should be alright
the wl needs to hv it b4 she could pass it to u, chance is low; and even if she has less than 1% u will be infected. hence no problem esp for Aids |

Re: sian condom burst....
Bruddar, I think what he meant by recycle is, to melt the soiled condoms, disinfect the liqued form and then reproduced into condom again. Just like recycling paper, this process can be more costly than producing brand new condoms.

Re: sian condom burst....
To add to what Bro sammyboyfor has listed.
Never let the gal BJ you and FJ with the same CD if she insisted on covered BJ. Usually Bros only bring 1 CD to room. If this is the case, ask the gal to use her CD during BJ and then use your own CD during FJ. Reason: CD may be damaged by teeth as shown in point 3. There are also saying that CD should not even be kept in wallets for similar reason to point 2 but not sure if it is an exaggeration. |

Re: sian condom burst....
Guys, since I'm here, looking at FRs as I wallow in self pity etc, and ran into this post, which doesn't really make me feel any better, mind you, I thought I'd add my two cents worth.
1) Yes, the DSC Clinic is a good place to go to from the cost point of view and the thorough examination etc. But remember this: DSC Clinic, or any registered doctor in Singapore for that matter, is required by law to report to Ministry in case of HIV positive results. I suggest if you can, make your way to some of the specialist hospitals across the border in Malaysia where confidentiality is less of an issue—just to be KS. They can also give you treatment for other STIs/STDs. Alternately, you can do everything at the DSC Clinic except the HIV test, which if you don't want to do in Malaysia, you can do at the Action For Aids Anonymous Testing times. 2) Specific to HIV. In the case of the statistically really rare instance of infection upon first time exposure, in the first week or more before seroconversion, there is a test called a PCR which can be done to reduce your worries. This is a test that specifically seeks out the count of the HIV. If it's after seroconversion, you have to take the other test, which is the more accurate one because it actually tests for the antibodies that come after primary infection. Count of antibodies here don't matter. As long as there's even one such antibody, that means tio already. The times for seroconversion, which are the times for more accurate testing, are 45 days after exposure, 90 days, and 180 days. They get progressive less worrying and when you get across 180, you are more or less 100%. 3) In my experience, kena STI in GL before not because of condom break but more likely the BBBJ or just the damn bed or mattress or towel not clean enough. The BBBJ—sometimes the girl didn't wash properly after the previous guy. 4) Durex so bad one ah? And not as thin and nice as Okamoto or Sagami some more. Don't waste money on that, is what I say. Some more doesn't not feel anywhere near as good as Okamoto or Sagami. Anyways, I must chime in with most of the wise brothers here: odds are you are OK la. |
