Just returned from Holiday Inn Batam. Went to the games room above the chinese restaurant...saw many jackpot machines. In fact, more jackpot machines than the normal games machines. But except the games machines the jackpot machines were all switched off.

I then approached the cashier gal who was nodding her head and was about to lose consciousness. Woke her up and asked "jackpots boleh main (can play)?" She replied "tak boleh (cannot)". I then asked "bila boleh (when can)". "Tak ta (don't know)" was her reply.

Did another check with the hotel staff and they too did not know when they be allowed to switch on the jackpot machines again. They also did not know when the casinos will reopen.

Looks like our hands will remain itchy for a while while in Batam. But of course, itchy didi is not a problem there...wine, songs, women all available and cheep cheep somemore.

So far no news yet, because they operators dono who is the winner of the elections yet. when all settles, then they will go to see the new "head". Then we will better news, hopefully.

So, just stick to food, wine and woman, yes, cheep cheep

Batam on overal.. still not cheep cheep. Must explore further to be like a bird, free and easy and... chipchip.
