J Redknapp actually is quite a good player in the making...

His passing range is superb and long shoots are just as good...
Too bad injuries took alot away from him(and most of the time is injuried when playing for England)

Well, at least he got a pretty wife!

Well, Redknapp is a fine mid, he can pass very well, but was unlucky when he was on duty for the crap national team, always come back with injuries.

I dun quite agree with his comments abt rafa, and as u mentioned here, not only him, but afew of the former players also keep on critising rafa on tv, but none of them actually tried managing a professional soccer team, let alone a top team like Liverpool.

well wont know whether JM can make Liverpool better or not, no body can gurantee rite? but of course Rafa needs to get result, not just in CL, but in the league.

Was very amaze by the way the team play in the league, not composure at all, wondering why such a big diff, especially the 2 games were played 3-4 days apart and with the exception of the central back, the rest were the starting players against inter.

I rem those times, he and fellow spice boys play damn exciting attacking soccer. A veri elegent player. always in possession of the ball and spraying those passes ard, that was i tot trademark of 'pool soccer. now i seldom see this brand anymore unfortunately.

I don't have a problem with Redders as a player, a talented footballer. But as a pundit, making a living by saying things targeted for a mass audience, that's what you have to take his comments for. Ditto the other former Pool players.

Redders, McManaman, Fowler with Rush and Barnes still around...

Cant forget the 2 4-3 victories the Spice boys gave us over Newcastle..

agreed 100%, and more amazing is it happened in 2 consecutive seasons.
Still can recalled Stan the man scoring the final header in one of those games to make the score 4-3. exciting game, but as bro here mentioned, not good for the fans supporting both teams.
