Not sure about other Bros. I keep my $ and passport inside the safe in the hotel room. I stayed in JinYu on my first trip and JLWH on my second trip. Nothing was lost during my stay. Maybe I was lucky lor.

I only carry what I need for the day in my wallet. RMB1000 is max. And I always put my wallet in my front jeans pocket. Never put at the back pocket. You can only do that in Sillypore.

If at night, try not wander into unfamiliar places. Best is you are accompanied by fellow Bros. Dun let your guard down.

I actually went to Jiu Ba Jie on my 2nd trip with Bro GodsendSYT and XY. Really an eye opener. Didn't realise got such hip place in GB. Those local youngsters can really sing, dance, smoke and drink. But not for me as I'm not a party animal nor a drinker.

This is only my second time in ZH. Be alert when in SZ also.

Luckily this incident happened during the last day of my trip. Guess I let my guard down and my brain stop functioning in street smart mode.

I've managed to haul my sorry ass back to Singapore in one piece. Thanks to all bros for the concern and advices. Like what I told adidas88 on Thursday night when the incident happened. I just treat the money as being conned by some KTV girl's KC trap to make myself feel better. Coincidently on this same day a friend of mine got into an accident. 24th Jul is really a jinxed day!

I like to share an "con" incident that happened in LHL which i heard fm a fellow bro whom we partied in CP last weekend.

He picked up a MM fm LHL backed to Hotel. As usual she asked to be paid the agreed 800rmb first which was done. Then her mobile phone rang and she said one of her friends was in trouble wif the "gong an" or something n need her immediate attention.

She volunteered to give her mobile phone which was an expensive one as a deposit. She promised to return within an hr. She even suggested to that bro to go hv some drinks at the road side bar while waitin. She said drinks on her.

That's wat that bro did. While seated at the bar, suddenly two China men appeared n accused him of picking up their friends' mobile phone. One man even called and that phone rang his pocket. They said that was their friend's phone. Then fm nowhere another few more china men surrounded that bro. He tried very hard to explain. No one listened. Those customers who ll drinking at the bar earlier began to leave. No one help that bro. He was shocked as he was surrounded by like four china men. Only that sweet bar assistant stayed beside him n advise him to "just give up the mobile phone" to avoid trouble.

After they left, the bar assistant told him.....this is one of the many common trick these MMs n their gang use to con foreigners.

LHL girls are crap. for any number of good reviews, there is an equal number of con cases, just that no one dare to write they were conned cos they picked the LHL girls. LHL girls are nice to see, but taking them back to the hotel equates inviting trouble and problem. Personally i've been conned before and wrote about it, but i do not understand why those who have been conned refused to write about it. Since the first time I've steped foot into ZH, the attitude of the LHL girls have changed. Gone were the days of real service, now replaced with acts of deceit to earn the few hundred dollars.

Bro sino, thanks for writing abt this trick. For all those who still want to pick up LHL girls, will have to take note of all this.

My personal take is, DO NOT pick up girls from LHL.

Thanks for sharing. This incident can happen anywhere in China, you need to be on 100% alert. Being foreigners, we stick out like sore thumb, not to mention that there are ppl who see us green with envy, or some who see us as arrogant and proud cos we got more money then them. In fact, this incident probably has got people tracking you from early on, if not, why only when u bring alot of cash out?

Sorry to hear this bro Tony... You were not the one .... i lost my HP PDA phone while drinking at LHL bar counter.... As you know, when you sit at the bar counter... a lot of small kids will approach you to sell things to u... like flower, sing song and so on... this kids will go near to you or just next to you... so we being innocent... did not expect these kids to pick pocket our things.... damn... plus drinking with 70% drunk... you will be easily targeted... damn... damn.... anyway, all bro should be care in china....

Made a police report also no use as there's no ID of any suspects. It just happens in a flash. Special operations police with MP5 rifles at Jiu Ba Jie last night. I approached the officer for help and he despatched the Gong Bei police to assist me in making a police report. Gone case lah but I just need to get it on the record in case something worst happens.

ZH is really a fucked up place now. With my misfortune and early closure of entertainment places. LHL FLs are also hiding here and there from police.
