If you run of money and want to change money at Ben Thanh area, forget about Ha Tam Jewelry. There were many people there when I went.

Try this:

For SGD 100, they gave me 1,887,000 VND. Google rate was 1,886,600.98 VND.

And not much people there. I was like 2nd in the queue.

Do give a try if you are frustrated with the long queue at Ha Tam. Spend the time on chionging instead

My last visit was less than 2 months ago. Once u become a Bong Lai Cac (BLC) member, the cost for the base vip room will become 900K. Then add the package cost. 1.5 Mil Package = 2 hours w/ 2 bbbjcim, dfk, fingering, licking + bath together. Hence total cost of 2.4 Mil. FS is not guaranteed but usually available for an additional 2 Mil. The special big pool room also cost extra but not necessary if u’re solo.

Don’t think that BLC does the usual District 1 tourist pricing scam stuff, they run 4 shops at Trung Son which has zero tourist attractions. Also all payments r made to the front desk cashier only.

VIP massage places like BLC cater mainly to the rich locals so the managers there don’t speak much english. Best is to join their telegram group & use google translate to understand their pricing system & ask questions before going down.

Yo elt0n. I do not have a straight forward answer. Why? Because it really depends WHERE you change in both countries and HOW CLOSE the exchange is to the actual rate.

For example, generally in airport, the rate will not be good.

However, I will suggest to change in Singapore. Reasons:
1) You can compare prices at The Arcade (near Raffles Place MRT)
2) Money charger is less likely to cheat you.
3) It is easily to find money charger in Singapore than HCMC. For HCMC, it seemed like only certain locations have money charger. Read Google reviews that ppl mentioned that they were cheated.

The location I suggested is for LAST RESORT. E.g. Want to chiong more but not enough VND.
