Re: Guangzhou ... New Chapter
Hi Bros,
I am a newbie here and have come to seek advice from you sifus. It will be my fisrt time visiting GZO flying into Baiyun Airport and will be staying for four nights. Will be spending 2 nights in Huizhou/Danshui and 2 nights in GZO. Am seeking advice on how to get fun in GZO. My interest is mainly sauna, massage, and perhaps tabao one for the night. Also, I read on this thread that Holiday Inn is running a HC itself and I am thinking of staying there. Can someone pls tell me how far is Holiday Inn from Marriot China Hotel located on 122, Liu Hua Lu? Is there a better place to stay that is reasonably priced and close to Marriot China? Thx very much. |

Re: Guangzhou ... New Chapter
Any 廣州 Master can help tiz China noob?
Will transit via HKIA (tix buy already can't change) and planning of taking the ferry service to Guangzhou. Looking at 2 ports of entry, either Nan Sha - travel time: 60 minutes or Dongguan (Humen) - travel time: 70 to 90 minutes. Nan Sha looks closer on the ferry service provider's map but reading the threads it seems Dongguan is also quite close. Which one is better? How much will the tickets costs? There were no prices mentioned on the website. Are there regular train services from these 2 places to Guangzhou City? Due to the restrictions of my trip I can only buy the helpful bro(s) an actual beer in Krungthep

1. take the train to town, from there take the train directly to GZ Guangzhou to Hong Kong (KCR) | Best Of Guangzhou 2. take a sky limo shuttle to luohu, shenzhen. from there a train to GZ http://www.hongkongairport.com/eng/t...a/skylimo.html 3. take the direct bus from airport to GZ...cost is about HKD 250 one way »´ä¤¤®È ®È¹Bµo®i¦³¤½¥q China Travel Tours Transportation Development H.K.Ltd. |

Re: Guangzhou ... New Chapter
Thought that via ferry then overland will be faster. Coz ferry takes an hour or so and train another hour. So travel time about 2 hours. Bus takes 3 hours. But will take your advice. If u r in my part of the neighborhood plz let me know Thanks again!

though the travel journey is shorter but the waiting time, queueing time to buy tkt and getting to the ferry port and train station .. all takes time .. and if u carrying huge luggages .. it's very inconvenient ... i would choose to take the direct bus from HKIA to GZ ... u can relax and sleep on the bus journey without any interruption .. |

Fm HKIA to GZ.....by coach is the most comfy n economical journey. The express bus counters r just on the left of after clearing the hk custom. Just one price, just conveniently push the luggages to the bus. Sit tight.....n be one the way to GZ...... The sea away is damn tedious n inconvenient. Have to take luggages up n down each changes plus ferry n buses hv their own schedule yr know...the in between waiting time may takes hours.....NOT recommended. The other alternative is take a bus or cab to Hung Hom....then take a direct train to gz....It's also quite convenient if n big luggages....but NOT cheap hoh... The train itself ll cost around 200HK.
