Re: Real doctor/medical related stories
Guess due to Covid, not much bros have new medical experiences in clinics or hospitals. Hopefully there will be some new updates here as this is one of my favourite topics.

Re: Real doctor/medical related stories
Yup, really hope that cases come down and more Bros can share stories here. Always have this fantasies of young innocent chio female doctors doing some procedure on me. Did share my groin issue sometime back when I visited hospital and gotta strip 3-4 times. Now all the doctors are masked up and can’t see their pretty face.

Had some pain at my groin area sometime back due to soccer. Went to the polyclinic and was checked by a young male doctor. Did some checks on the groin area and he suspect could be hernia. Sianz and referred me to TTSH. Went to TTSH for my appt, was attended by a pretty female doctor in her late twenties this time. So she asked me to pull down my pants and was touching here and there to check if there’s hernia. Asked me to cough and said likely hernia too. Trying to keep my brother cool and not to have any reaction. Arranged for a ultrasound session for me next. Ultrasound was done by a SYT. It was really good and the ultrasound probe with the cooling gel went around my pubic area. Tried to keep cool. Then an older nurse came in and can really keep cool. Later another male Indian doctor come and and kept really cool. They all looking at the screen and trying to look for the hernia. So the doctor said there’s hernia. Ask me to go home wait for the report. Went back another day for the report and another young female doctor attended to me. Said that it’s confirm hernia and need to go for surgery. So she asked me to remove my pants for her to check again. Did another round of check and said it’s slight hernia and arranged for surgery. Wife asked me to go for 2nd opinion since i got insurance coverage. Walked into a specialist clinic in Mt. E and the very senior consultant who did like 3000 hernia operations told me it’s not hernia!!! It’s just some muscle pull during soccer. Gave me some strong muscle relaxant and the pain went off in a week. Somehow wondered what will happen if i went for the surgery and they can’t find any hernia and just open and closed me up. but the entire episode wasn’t too bad cos got 2 pretty doctors and a SYT examining my package. |

Re: Real doctor/medical related stories
Now a days many doctors are damn quick to suggest surgery and no other alternatives.
A friend's father, a diabetic, injured his foot and got it infected. Visits to numerous clinics/hospitals resulted in all of them suggesting immediate amputation of his foot before the spread of the infection to his leg. A relative of theirs suggested another doctor, a GP and this doctor said - no need to amputate and that it can be treated. After a course of antibiotics and daily visits to the clinic for cleaning of the wound and redressing it, he recovered and can now walk like before! So, do seek 2nd, 3rd or more opinions to avoid surgery. Cheers |
