Flying into Penang and hop on to DNK via mini-van that operate from COMTAR. The only catch is the taxi from airport to COMTAR. Taxi from Penang to/fro DNK is expensive.

Flying to BKK, then take another flight to HDY, is not for the budget minded ones. But this is certainly one of the best options. Leave SG aroung 10.30, and arrive HDY at about 3pm. Then take a minivan to DNK. Not really a good option, might as well stay BKK. So much more to offer.

This bro can drive from Singapore to north of Thailand and some more he drives alone! He really enjoys driving.

If you have more than one person to drive, it should be fine to drive from Singapore to Danok.
