So far, only got 2 girls from An Giang...So, not sure if can conclude An Giang girls are pretty although both are. And, both happen to be very understanding.

If I'm not wrong,

di => go
ve => return

And, yes, nghe = hear, should be she asking you to answer her phone. Not sure about you (i.e. whether it's convenient for you to answer VBs' call), but for me, I always tell them if they want find me, just message (nhan tin) me. Don't ever call (dien thoai) me.

Apart from the reason that it might not be convenient, it also subtlely tell them I call the shot. I decide when to call you, not the other way round.

Missing a comma here. The right sentence must be "Em dien thoai cho anh, nghe di"
----> I called (or will call) u, plz answer.

"di" = 吧, use at the end of the sentence, to direct. You should or must do the action in the verb stand be4 "di".

Sometimes, the "vay", "nha", "nhe" act as their lah/lor/leh and have no meaning. I tend to ignore when I see them.

1. affectionate appellation and address used with little boys
2. form of address and appellation used with young men

U r nearly correct.

"Vay" at the end of sentence means nothing. Just like lah, lor. But if "vay" is in the middle of the sentence, it means "then", linking 2 actions together.

"Chu" (full form: chứ), means "of course". Use at the end of the sentence, show the fact that u must have known already.
"Chu" = the boss only when it is subject of the sentence, (full form: chủ).

Anyhoo, thanks for the correction. Am a starter learner here where TV is concerned, hence, irregardless of your real identity, as long as you contribute to this thread and help out brothers here, is is good enough for me.

Let me go through my SMSes and post those that I don't really understand but managed to guess the meaning by reading the words around it.
