I kind of agree that iphone for friendship doesn't sound right in sg, but don't you agree that many of us cheongster is quite lonely? Many cheongster don't admit or think about it.

I'm not sure whether it is a culture in China that friendship link to monetary, but it is both way than one way, mean I buy u things and you buy me back.

I don't agree with the statements. Human got feeling (be it fl or not), so it can hurt, especially woman, and the one who hurts her is someone she trusts.

I understand your intention, you are saying nothing good will come out from this relationship even if this incident did not happen so why continue to pursue it? just like you said count it as blessing in disguise which my friend also said good riddance.

I am not lonely, I have friends is just that I am lamenting the fact I could have just brush off the topic again and continue to be as friends.

I fully understand that REAL friendship does not build around money. But I met her in such a situation (she working as FL) more or less it has to involve abit in money.

@korean,

She used to be rich and gives/lend money to a lot of people so I think her concept buying things to other people its showing concern/care and MAYBE before she go back to China, she MIGHT buy something back. I am not sure.

For me, i think the reason why I want to salvage this friendship is because I want to see the end for myself. Which is the time when I go to china and find her and will she pick me up and show me around?

I think what I want is for her to end this friendship rather than me then I will admit that this friendship is totally gone. 我就认了.
