Do wives refuse to give husband sex because he does not give her allowance?

As i work in my own family business , i always get them to split my pay chq. On average now i take home about 7k after all CPF. So what i usually do is 1st Chq is 5K i put in bank "A" and declare as my salary. My wife holds the card for it and pays all bills and household expenses with it, she will usually take 1K out from there for my daily expenses. Balance i not sure what she do with it. But i still have a second Chq of around 2K for my own entertainment. This way she won't bother me about allowance, she also think i don't have much money to fool around, plus i still declare i have balance of over $500 at the end of the month which i still get to keep and she thinks i am stingy thats why whole month spend less than $500 and will unlikely to fool around outside . This plan works for me for as long as i could remember. HAHA

What you plan to do with your wife is how you will structure your money and how you structure your money will be how your relationship is with your wife in future.

If you plan to cheat on her, you will find a way to cheat with your money. If you plan to share everything with her, you will plan your money to share with her. If you plan to give in to her, you will give her an allowance however unfair.

Every time one sleeps with another woman he loses something dear with his wife. He will definitely enjoy his sex romps outside. Shiok the first few years. Not sure about the next 20.

The funny thing to me is after 20 over years of romping, he sees another old happy loving couple, likely more successful because when finances are combined they can plan more, compares and then blame his wife for his bad luck and why life is so unfair to him, whereas in the first place he was the one who chose to ruin his own marriage. upon hearing this, i guess its nonsensical to expect an allowance, maybe it is due to miscommunication? but she's not being rational just like that, i dont think she should be given in to, spend more time and effort rather than money on her, take the materialism away

Possible, though I highly doubt it, cause if anyone's wife is in any similar situation, they would simply volunteer to avoid such groups in future as it is only natural for anyone not to bring any negativity back to the house. All finances have already been laid out, so you cant magically make more from nowhere. Chances are she wants more control over the husband for fear of her hubby going elsewhere. People often do many things out of fear - now that I would believe. I can imagine the auntie conversation now...lol

She does not worry that I will stray but she her friends like to show off what their husbands fo for them. It makes me look really bad when I do not do the same. Why must woman compare this and that?

Well, I think 10% for your woman to spend is not too much considering some Christians give 10% to church & our govt takes 20% to CPF.

The issue here is your wife is making a decent living with a $5K income so she should put some effort into the household expenses as what some bros said. You guys are in Singapore with both spouses working & a city state where expenses is among the highest in the world so splitting the bill makes common sense.

Now back to your question. Unfortunately, it might be too late now to reverse the ball rolling in your favour. A happy wife will make the husband satisfied but she has grabbed you by the balls instead & starting to lord over your life. A great part on a happy marriage is finance where both parties must work it out early on in the union to have a better understanding on how the household operate. Imagine if either of you lost the job with no income for more than six months?

I can understand what u mean. Cos I hv heard of woman not only use sex but also use other ways such as treatment to hubbys parents to threaten the hubby to listen to them.

An idea for you... Ask your wife to get a new husband and you get a new wife...

I dun give my wife allowance as she is working and earn only half of your wife do. Yes i paid for all expenses including hers bill and insurance policy.. And we are happy with it

Er.......perhaps you are the weak one? None here so far give his wife an allowance when she works.

There are bros here whose wives earn less than your wife and don't get an allowance. If you need an example of wives earning more than your wife, my wife does. She don't get one too

TS, is this a persistent issue? If it is, you may have to assess if you are ok facing this problem for life.

I'm sharing bills with my wife(similar earning power) and she always get angry & upset over similar issues. She also enjoys comparing to peers whose husband foots the bill. Logic & reasoning just doesn't apply to woman because they have very selective hearing.

I'm considering leaving my wife soon. Good luck TS.
