Hi TS, you have been more forthcoming in your information hence we can have a better view of what's going on with you. You said you want a job that pays about 1200-1500 and it's doing sales or promoting stuff. You can join those Havey Norman, or Courts as another Bro suggested, but, to be blunt to you. I don't think you will last, since your mentality is not right for sales person. When I hired my sales, I only bother how much he/she can bring in each month/each year, and all my sales only concern is how much commission they will make per deal. That's why our basic very low or don't have, mainly is to survive on commission. The point is if you only want that1,500 don't do sales, cause your results won't be good and you will be the first to be replaced.

Since you mentioned you are unfit with heart problem and have weight issue, my humble suggestion is for you to get yourself trim and fit first. Talk to your doctor to see how you can reduce your weight and get fitter. In the long run, you will know how much you can save from not having to see doctors / specialist. Take it from me, I'm 36 (10 years older than you), I may earn much more than 700/month but I also have to spend quite a bit every month for medical. Now I want to improve my health so that I can cut down on medical expenses and enjoy life a bit.

1,900/month sounds reasonable compare to what you used to say about your pay. You get 1,900 with all your OT and allowance I suppose. Yes, market rate is around there, but I guess you want more.

To tell you about blog shops/online biz, it is not true that those that make it are mostly girls, the biggest are those founded by guys and they don't just make 30,000 a month, they make much more. All business require capital it is just more or less. My own boss, a businessman will tell you, if you think there is no capital involved, you must be dreaming, even if you rob a bank, you need capital (your life).

If you really want to run your business then maybe you can take the following words from my boss, to run a business, first you must be healthy and fit, you must not be lazy, you must be willing to risk and lose money, and finally after each failure, evaluate and don't be afraid to start over again.

Think about it, dose it make sense to you, and are you willing to do the above?

Hi Bros After reading your posts I know the problem lies with me and not others I know and im Sorry for that. But the thing is I am brought up in a comfort zone everything protected and provided for but now When Im facing the world I give up easily and expect things to be easy. I need to change but how. Many people recomend courses to me but I myself is unsure what I want to.
I did put in lots of effort to pass o lvl yet failed 3 times.
For a blog or business I am willing to work my ass off 16 hours a day and learning from ppl if anyone teaches me.

I just cant imagine working as a guard 20 yrs to 30 yrs from now.

If you put in a lot of effort (4 hrs a day) and cannot pass O level, that will rule out a lot of jobs. (unless you find someone to take a chance on you)

You look not presentable because of your weight (I presume from your post), that reduces your chances at interviews.

You have nothing in the resume that indicates that you are "teachable", that again is a barrier of entry.

You want your own business and is willing to work for it but you do not have the prerequisite education level or the x-factor (natural leader or natural sales person), it is likely that it is doomed to fail.

If you truly want your own business, the only option I can see now is being a stall owner. Get a good recipe and practice until you can consistently get it right. Any other business that does not require "intelligence" might also work. (eg. Taxi drivers etc)

Businessmen, I believe, are "born" and not made. If you have it, you have it. If not, you can survive and improve but never attain greatness.

Let tell u something I am with a grps on hobbyist keeping a hobby in sg. Than everyone see a oppoturnity to make quick bucks out of it. All start to flip buy Low sell high due to the demand. A friend in the grp saw it and went ahead to sell this n that to get money and start up. He also left his comfort zone his dad have a business wanting him to takeover. But he choose otherwise to setup his own. And it was tough as hell till today he till whine about it. Own business u towkay so what? No fresh idea to improve business die, no competitive price u die, no stock u die many worry are u sure u ready for that??

Think hard man what u want 1st than head that direction u are all mess up in the brain now Which is why u can't see what ppl want u to see. Why not u wait for the bro recommendation settle down on the job and than think hard what u want.
