Re: A Relationship With 2 Spinster Sisters
Chapter 6 - Amy
“Eh, how come you alone today?” I asked Amy as I met up with her at what has now become our “unofficial” meeting place before walking to the market. “Where’s your sis?” “Still sleeping” was the reply. It was a week since the incident with Alice & we haven’t been in contact. I didn’t give it much thought as I felt that it wasn’t that big a deal & also, we’re bound to meet at the market again during the weekend. But, they were nowhere to be seen that weekend. It was the following Saturday that I bumped into Amy. “Is she sick? I thought you two always go to the market together?” I asked. “Aiya, don’t know her la. Wake her up but she say she still want to sleep. So I go alone lor” “Come, let’s have tau huay” I suggested to Amy & walked towards the bean curd stall. “You find a seat first while I go & get tau huay ok? You want youtiao or not?” Looking surprised (as I’ve never sat or ate with them at the hawkers’ centre all this while), she replied “Anything lor…” I bought 2 bowls of bean curd & 2 sticks of youtiao while she managed to get a seat near the centre aisle of the centre. “So, what’s with your sister” I asked, in-between chewing my youtiao & slurping a spoonful of tau huay. “Aiya, don’t know her la. Head-wind…” came her reply. “Why? You two quarrel ah?” “Did she say anything to you” she asked. “Say what?” I replied pretending to act blur. “I thought you two met last week for dinner mah. She didn’t say anything meh?” “Oh, that night. No la, she left halfway & we didn’t eat dinner together” “Why what’s the matter?” “Anything serious?” I asked, sounding concerned. “Nothing lah. Never mind, since she didn’t say anything…” “She did say on the phone that she wanted to ask for my opinion. Something about you” I interrupted, “But when we met later, she got angry because of something I joked about & just left without saying anything”. “Why? Is there a problem?” Sighing, she said softly “Nothing important la. I don’t know whether I should be asking you or not”. “Aiyoh, no need to stand on ceremony with me la. It’s not that I just got to know you yesterday! Anyway, it’s up to you, if you want to tell, tell. If not, forget it”. Amy is different from her sister – in her dressing, actions, temperament & character. I got a first-hand experience of Alice’s temperament & I wondered if Amy shared the same traits. Maybe being the older one makes her more matured? She’s not so direct in speaking out as her younger sister & speaks in a softer & gentler tone. More ladylike, you may say whereas Alice is a little more brash. Even her dressing – she’s always wearing tees (round high-neck with sleeves) & prefers denim skirts to bermudas or shorts. At least that’s what she wears when I see her. The only common outward appearance with the two is that they both a good skin complexion & long hair. I’ve never had a down-blouse opportunity with Amy since we met but judging from the contours on her teeshirt, she looks quite good – unless she’s using paddings. Same as her younger sister, her breasts seldom shake or bounce when she walks. Sighing again, she continued “I don’t know how to start…”. “Just say what’s the first thing that’s on your mind” I mumbled, looking at my bowl of tau huay. “Should I get married?” she muttered softly. Nearly choking on the piece of youtiao in my mouth, I coughed out & said “Huh? What did you just say? Married?” “You mean you’re getting married? That’s good of course! Congrats! Unless you don’t want to…” “It’s not that” she replied, “At my age, should I be thinking of getting married?” “Wah seh, you mean at your age cannot get married one meh?” “So, who’s he? I never heard you guys mention him before. That’s why it’s always your sister & me lunching right?” I replied teasingly. She went on to tell me that she’s currently seeing a man, divorcee with a kid. They’ve been going together for less than a year & he’s now suggesting marriage. She added that his reason was that he wants his child to have a mother as he can’t play both roles. He’s working as an electrical contractor – at least a stable job with a stable income. “What’s important is how you feel” I said, emphasising on the “you”. “Do you want to get married in the first place? To him??” “I don’t know. I’m worried that he might want another child. At my age, how can…?” “Cheh, as long as you’re still having periods, you can still conceive” I interrupted jokingly. “I still got menses but I’m already approaching mid 40s. Too old to have a baby. Somemore, never give birth before & don’t know whether the baby will be normal or not”. “I don’t think I want baby lor. Scared to give birth”. On hearing what she said, I mentally told myself (if I ever get a chance to bed her), not to expect to pop a cherry. But then, since she’s never given birth, her love-tunnel should at least feel tight, right? Finishing our tau huay & youtiao, I told Amy that I needed to get going & buy breakfast for my family or they’ll be wondering why I’m gone for so long. I asked her if she wanted to meet up, for lunch or dinner so that we can talk & she said that she’ll let me know. We went our separate ways after that. Next, the opportunity that I’ve been waiting for.....

Re: A Relationship With 2 Spinster Sisters
Chapter 7 (i) – The lead-up
“Still angry with me ah?” was the text I sent to Alice before noon that day. It was a Saturday & my wife left after breakfast on a company (overnight) trip to Batam. She’ll be back late tomorrow night while my son will be staying over at his friend’s place. Yes, opportunity beckons!! “I don’t like, to sleep alone…” mentally singing the song by Paul Anka. “Why? What you want?” was the reply that came back. “Never see or hear from you one week already, got think of you a bit” I deftly texted back. Quickly following up with another text before she replied, I said “Aiya, sorry la. I didn’t mean to make you angry. Just joking only mah. Anyway, met your sis this morning & she told me a bit already”. I purposefully left it at that wanting to see if she’ll bring up the matter again. “What did she say?” the reply read. “Not much. I think maybe she don’t want lor…” Some minutes passed without a reply & just as I was about to call her, the text beeped. “You eat already?” I called instead of texting. “Breakfast yes, lunch no. You want to have lunch with me?” “You no need to eat with your family meh? Today Saturday you know?” she asked. “Wife went to Batam with her company & son not in. All coming back tomorrow night. So, you want to eat or not. I’m hungry”. ”Wah, the bird can fly out of the cage ha!” she laughed. “I don’t know which bird you talking about la. So how? Want or not?” “What you feel like eating” she asked. “Oysters & abalone” I immediately replied not knowing if she knew what I was driving at. Either she didn’t catch my hint or she pretended not to understand. “Wah no occasion eat abalone for what? Oyster can go Parkroyal Beach Road buffet lor”. “Aiya anything la. I pick you up at the junction. What time?” “I haven’t bathe somemore. Aiya, one hour later can?” she asked. “Wah, you need one hour to bathe ah? You use what soap?” I asked in disbelief. “You got hot-pool at home is it? Can earlier or not. Like that when you ready, not lunchtime already lor. Can go eat high tea instead”. “Aiya ok, ok la. Half an hour can?” “Wah lau eh. Ok la” and with that I hung up. As the weather was hot, I too went to have a quick shower. I was expecting her to be dressed in her usual fashion and was surprised to see her mirroring Amy’s dressing style as she walked towards the car. She wore a plain red teeshirt & a pair of denim skirt. Remembering her temperament, I held back in commenting about her dressing lest I get a replay of what happened at Starbucks. Trying to get a conversation going, I asked “What shampoo you use ah? Everytime I want to ask you but I forget”. “Why? Smelly is it?” she asked sarcastically. “No. Actually the smell very nice. Everytime I smell the shampoo smell, very nice leh…” I was tempted to say that it was always a turn-on but again, remembering her temperament…”Ok, so go where?” I asked. “Chin chye la, I also hungry, Never eat breakfast” It was already past 1.00pm & I suddenly remember the kebab stall on the ground floor of Peace Centre. I ate at that place a couple of times & the taste isn't bad. “You eat kebabs?” I asked. “Anything also can. Where?” “Peace Centre. There’s a stall on the ground floor. Not bad, quite nice. But space small & sometimes quite crowded”. “Today Saturday will be crowded meh?” she asked while running her fingers through her hair trying to keep it from entangling. It was still damp after her wash & she didn’t have time to dry it. In the car with the air-con blowing, the scent was really getting to me. The kebab stall was crowded but luckily we didn’t have to wait long to get a seat. Placed my order & went to get canned drinks from the cooler. “Eh, that guy look like Jesus hor!” Alice remarked, looking at the Turkish man slicing the chicken kebab from the roast-stand. “Yah hor!” I exclaimed. Teasing her, I asked “You want to go and ask him?” “Tsk” she answered playfully hitting my hand. Actually I knew that the owner bears some resemblance to Jesus & one of the reasons the stall is crowded was that customers liked to see him. Besides being good-looking, the food also tasted good. The sandwich rolls came & we started eating, silently. Uncomfortable with the silence, I broke it asking “How’s it? Nice?” “Ok la. So-so” she answered with her mouth filled with chicken meat. “Amy told you we met this morning?” I asked. “Ya. Told me she told you”. “You want to tell me more?” And so, she started relating to me – the story of her sister Amy.

Re: A Relationship With 2 Spinster Sisters
Approaching 44, she had only one serious relationship in her life, many years ago. She was so in love with her ex, presumably because she sacrificed her most prized possession (according to Alice) to him expecting them to get married.
But the relationship didn’t work out & she took it very badly. Remained single ever since, but had a few boyfriends in-between. Sadly, none of them could make her agree to marriage. Then appeared Lim, an electrical contractor who happened to come by her previous workplace as her boss needed some re-wiring work done. That was how they met each other. They slowly became an item, even going to Genting Highlands for weekend getaways a few times. And, there were the usual squabbles that couples usually have. According to Alice, Lim seems ever interested in sex & Amy on the other hand, just gives in but doesn’t really enjoy it. So sometimes, she rejects him & that’s when they end up squabbling. I didn’t dare probe further & ask if she didn’t enjoy sex as an act or doing it with Lim. I was to find that out myself later on….. Lim was a divorcee with a kid. His wife left him while his son was still a baby – for another man. And since then, he tried hard in taking on the roles of being a father & mother. But it was tough, given the nature of his job as he sometimes needed to work overtime to ensure that projects can be completed. “Want to have coffee at Starbucks?” I asked Alice after we finished eating. “Wah, you still can drink ah?” She said looking bemused. “Up to you. I’m very full already. Cannot go in some more”. We crossed the road & walked into the air-conditioned comfort of the building. I was worried that it might trigger some sort of memory reaction in her but she appeared nonchalant about it. Starbucks was full but the nearby juice stall had some available seats. Moving quickly, I headed towards the only sofa in the stall. “Why must sit here? Got chair there mah” exclaimed Alice as she caught up with me and pointing to some empty chairs in front. “Cushion seat more comfortable. Backside not pain” I replied. Grinning, she plonked down to my left & laughed. We sat quite close together – close enough for our bodies to come into contact. In between sipping my drink, we continued talking about Amy. But I was more interested in knowing more about Alice’s past. I got a strong gut feel that she’s had sex before but that didn’t matter. What mattered was how can I get to taste that piece of abalone so within my reach, but yet can’t get to it….. “What about you?” I asked her during a moment of silence. “Me why?” she replied curiously. “Are you with anyone now?” “Ya, with you lor…” “Aiya not that la, I mean you got boyfriend?” Keeping silent for awhile, her looked then changed to that of a mixture of anger, frustration & sadness all rolled into one. A kind of “helpless & hopeless” type of look. “Aiya don’t ask la” she replied softly. “Sorry. If you don’t feel like saying, it’s ok”. “No, not that”, she said & continued “My sister & me got no luck in love”. “Why you say that?” I asked. Sighing, she said “Cannot find the right one then how? You expect we all just marry anyone meh?” ”Desperate la, but cannot show we desperate right?”. I’m not sure whether her action was done on purpose or subconsciously, but she started leaning towards me, letting her head rest on my left arm. Her hands were clasped on her thighs & we were both sort of like slumped on the sofa. We stayed that way for a while, not talking but each in our own thoughts. I didn’t know what was she thinking about then but my mind was in overdrive. Should I take the risk & go for broke? What can it mean when she’s resting her head on my arm? What should I do next? These questions were racing through my head one after the other! Without speaking, I moved my left hand over to her clasped hands, covering them. I was testing to see if she’d moved them away to avoid contact. If she did, then the message was clear. But to my surprise, she did nothing. I squeezed her hands intermittently in a playful manner but she just kept quiet, not responding. Breaking away for a moment to take a sip, I leaned back & she automatically rested her head on my arm again. I purposefully did that to see if she’d resume the position or move away. That to me, seemed like a signal of sorts. Going for broke, I turned towards her and planted a light kiss on top of her head, inhaling the scent of her shampoo. At the same time, I squeezed her hands tighter. I was prepared for a slap or a replay of the incident at Starbucks but she just looked straight ahead, keeping silent & didn’t look up. “Your shampoo smell still there. Very nice” I said to her. “Hmm?” she replied in a dreamy manner & looked up towards me. Without a word, I moved my head towards her & kissed her on her lips. It was a quick peck. Again, I braced myself for Armageddon but to my surprise, there was no response from her. No reaction, no words. Nothing. I quickly excused myself to go to the gents. i I thought to myself while in the cubicle. “Ask her to go to 81? Wait kena slap how?” the feeling of sexcitement & fear happening at the same time was really a huge turn-on for me but alas, making my legs soft like jelly! She was still slouched on the sofa when I returned . As I took a seat & leaned back, she rested her head on my arm again. “So what you want to do?” I asked hesitantly. “Donno” she replied, almost whispering. “You want to sit here or go somewhere else? Here not so comfortable leh.” I said haltingly. I was nervous as hell saying that but I knew for sure that she was getting the hint. Summoning up my courage, I decided to be more direct. “Can we be alone?” I asked. “Want to go somewhere more private?” “Where you want to go?” she replied, and after pausing for a few seconds said, “You want to go hotel is it?” The tone of voice in which she asked was not one of annoyance or anger. More of curiosity. That question nearly made me slide down the sofa. This is the first time that a woman has brought up the suggestion to me! “If you don’t mind” was all I reply. “Here where got hotel?” “Further down the road got one”, I replied. Pausing for a second or two, I asked “How?” “Aiya, let’s go la” getting up & grabbing her bag as she said that. There was no room available at 81 but we managed to get a single room on the groudfloor at Fragrance next door. Since there were no windows in that room, I couldn’t get any signal from my mobile. I was thinking of what excuse to give to my wife should she call & can’t get through. But with what was laying ahead, I didn’t want to give it much thought & spoil my mood. Next chapter’s what you guys have been waiting for…..
