Luckily no...me not brave ... think my balls were nearly up in my throat liao....I knew I nvr commit any offence and they can't charge me even if I was there to find PRO 'BUT' I was afraid of having to follow them back for coffee plus all the questionings and embarrassment I have to suffer.

If I am in a lawful place when i have the right to be there then they cannot invade my privacy and screen my items. They can radio and check the IC but they should not have the rights to check your wallet or bag.

Hey, if you have SIC information inside which is not public domain, they should have no legal grounds to search without a warrant. They can only do a visual cue.

As for CD, helloz... these are not illegal and btw. engaging an FL/Wl is not illegal too.

I would love for them to call the people I have on my phone and ask them if the FL coz then they will really be in deep shit.

Anyway, when u have nothing to hide, you dun have anything to fear.

Sad to say me just nobody and in my case I think I LL endure the 15mins screening then be a hero and going all out for my rights and end up making a big hoo ha wasting a few hours in the process.

Actually, we are not supposed to give them our wallets, hp etc. We can refuse if we want to. They can ask if we have cigarettes and we show them our cigarettes etc. But not our valuables! We have the right not to hand over our valuables. How would we know these are real policemen? How would we know if they are not rogue off-duty policemen out to make a quick buck? Our force is 100% clean? So we do have the right to refuse!

This kind of "searching" is especially rampant in Europe. I was "searched" once by a "policemen" in Austria. I know that guy is a fake but I also have a standby "wallet" to let him check, so nothing lost.

If you are clean, it is better to cooperate with them. They are after all allowed to hold you for 48 hrs without charge. And when they hold you, they can strip search you. Rights or no rights.

So, it is better to just go along.
