Very true. Choosing a girl from nightlife, is like trying to play a video game with the highest possible Difficulty Level. And the problem is, you don't know how high the difficulty level is, it may well be impossible - especially if you find out later that your girl has a gambling habit, or a family background that treats her only as an ATM.

And yet, exceptions exist. And you may actually have come across them during chionging.

My personal tip: If you know your KTV Mummy well, ask about her life story, and the story of the other mummies in the KTV. You will be amazed at how some of the mummies take explicit and deliberate steps to transition away from the life of a KTV girl, and take a huge pay cut in the process. I know quite a number of Mummies through the years - who are now quite old (past 45) and have teenage/grown Singaporean children, and they all have settled into "normal" life in Singapore.

If you can spot a young Mummy who doesn't wear a lot of branded, doesn't do excessive cosmetic surgery and is frequently mistaken to be a KTV girl - then likely she is an ex-KTV girl who probably found love, and is trying to transition into a more "normal" life by being a junior Mummy. Some of them can't adjust to the pay cut and take some clients on the side, but by and large they usually avoid selling pussy to earn money because it puts them in direct competition with the girls they are supposed to "protect"

I think this is the hardest part as its not easy to fully know the true history/background of a lady from foreign lands. She may even be knee deep in debt in her hometown while you are none the wiser.

Actually spoken to some of them on why they choose to be FL/ML/KTV girls.

Some of them cite that they/family are in debt and need money, some come over for quick buck easy money, hard to get good paying job in their own country.

ML told me in her first stint in singapore pre-covid, she made some money and went back in the span of 1-2 months. opened some business in china. Due to covid and china's 0 covid policy happy happy lock down, she incurred massive losses on the businesses and is in debt. hence no choice have to come back to sg to earn quick money to clear debts.

ktv girl, played stocks/crypto. loss few hundred thousands rmb and in debt. came to sg, worked a month or two (this was during the "bistro" era). made enough to cover her losses and went back.

The bigger barrier would be culture, ie, culture shock, attitude / mentality differences !

I got one encounter is slightly different situation. I met one girl over Michat one night before she went back to Batam. After a few chat she agree to meet me for supper and I brought her back to my affice after we dabao some food.
