The place where I have been seem to be in some village out of town and it is a single storey house with a living hall where all the girls sits. I am very sure the place is meant for local Thai people as I don't even see a farang nearby anywhere. Maybe it didn't exist anymore as I thought maybe the older veteran cheongster of Bangkok can shade some light for me. |

Advise from taiko and grand sifu that never ever pick up gal from disco. 9 out of 10 will Kena con one. They are fl, so if they con you, you don't know where to complain. Some may even run out from your room midnight and may also bring out your belonging. Unless your are damn handsome and nice person till the gal crazy on you. Else better be careful. Better fish wl or dancer or coyote. At least you know where they work. Paragon in danok is the hang out place for all Puyings. If you are regular in danok sure you will meet all your puyings there. Keke Sifu also advice us that if we go danok once a while. Better get farm gal. Bonk in room fist round afternoon, then bring them to have dinner and ask her to stay in hotel room then you go out Cheong lo. You still can raba - raba with the coyote and get their number for next time or next day lo. Then back to hotel bonk the farm gal again till next morning. Keke. Sound not bad right? |

Re: Eating in Bangkok
The chicken rice in Ratchada soi 3 is pretty good, actually. A plate would set you back just 25b. If you're coming in from Ratchada road, remember to go to the one on the left, on the side of 7-11. The one on the right, nearer the Tsutaya, quite poor, actually. Didn't like it at all, but that's my friends and I. If I'm not wrong I think the place is open until 5am.
Regarding the Pratunam chicken rice, it's about the same standard, imo. The good thing about that place, is that it's easier to find seats there after clubbing. The whole of soi 3 will be flooded by the people from soi 4. Also, if still gian after your chicken rice @ Pratunam, can just go down the road to Boss. Quote:

There's another place that's cheaper and better, but you'd have to be willing to go a bit off the beaten track. It's next to the hotel Inter Place in Hua Mak, Ramkamhaeng. Right next to the national stadium. |

Re: Eating in Bangkok
Oh, and if you're looking for really good japanese food, you can try the following:
- Mokori, at Thong Lor. It's a small ramen joint near the beginning of Thong Lor from Sukhumvit, near the BTS station. It's on the right side if coming from Sukhumvit, just after the curve in the road; has red lanterns in front. Open 'til midnight. - Gotto Retto, Thong Lor soi 13. The sushi there is excellent, and they have an extensive menu w/ Japanese chef. As you enter the soi, it's on the right hand side. Open 'til 1am. |

Ah yes the small open air seafood joint, its after Claudia, along Huay Kwang Road near the Tsutaya and a Provision shop selling quite cheap toiletries and cosmetic products, is tat the same place you been to? is it much cheaper than Kuang or Somboon?..where is the air-conditioned ones? also along Huay Kwang? The seafood place at the national stadium, is it one BTS stop after Siam, along RAMA 1 rd? Do u know the Rest. name? Last edited by NobleEagle; 16-08-2008 at 10:20 PM. |

Re: Eating in Bangkok
The open air ones are not too bad, the price of course cheaper than Somboon etc., but of course the quality not the same standard either. Like compare small restaurant and big restaurant, hehe. The air-con one is just a bit further down, near the shop selling the pig leg rice.
As for the place near the national stadium, it's not near any BTS/MRT station. It's the stadium past Rama 9, towards Ramkamhaeng area. If you know where Ram Uni is, that's the stadium. There are 2 roads on each side of the stadium. One is Ramkamhaeng, the other is known as 'Lung (L)Ram'. The hotel and the restaurant is on Lung Lam. (Lung as in 'behind'.) They're in the Hua Mak area. As far as I know/can see, they don't have an actual name. It's in a little tent with those makeshift metal tables/chairs. Not open during the day, only in the evenings/at night. Think it closes around 11pm. If going by taxi, just tell them to get you to hotel Inter Place @ Hua Mak/Ramkamhaeng. ----- On a side note, any one knows where I can get decent SG food? Like hokkien mee, prawn noodles, bak kut teh etc.? Been here for a while and really miss the food back home. |
