Thanks for the detailed info! Actually now feeling both excited and stressed. Excited cos going to a new place to cheong rather than my usual bangkok. Stressed cos still trying to find hotel for my 2night stay. Too last min decision and seems like hard to get cheap and good hotel. Now to me, think most impt is hotel must be girl friendly!

Bro dun worry abt the accomodation thing.Stress is the last thing that should be on your mind when u goes to thailand!!Even thou its high season now with lots of ang mo in pattaya,u should have no problem securing a room.Too many hotels ard & thats plenty of guesthouse around with some room nicer than hotel also!!Have fun..

Hmm... is Tim Boutique Hotel good and girl friendly? The reviews I serached from Google are quite back dated in Dec 08. Any help is greatly appreciated. Now waiting for my reservation reply from Areca Lodge.

He bro what bro Rub recommended r girl friendly hotels, clean and good. Now is high season so rates r up. Hotels around the mid-1000 baht range r quite OK if u dun demand 5 star accomodations. I was in Pattaya last week and stayed at Centera Beach Resort. Bht1,200/night with breakfast. But hotel is at least 40 years old, rooms really old but clean. Has a nice salt water pool and in front of the beach. Its girl friendly. They just take the ID card of the girl. Booked thru Agoda website.

If u wanna save some money take a bus to Pattaya. Costs Bht200 from Bell Transport Service. Go down to the ground floor of the airport. They don't have a counter but a sign with their staff at some seats near exits 7 & 8. Costs includes a van transfer at Pattaya to most hotels in Pattaya. I take a bus coz no sense paying Bht800 to Bht1000+ for a limo that takes about the same time (approx 1.5 to 2hours). U can take a cheaper bus at Bht110 but they dun take u to your hotel but the central bus terminal. Pattya has NO TAXIS but motor-si taxis and song teaws.

Song teaws costs Bht20 from bus station to most destinations but if u r unsure where your hotel is then it would be a problem knowing where to stop and u can't carry your luggage on a motorcycle can yah?

Pattaya is basically one big pussy town. Don't loose sleep over where to stay but rather where to chiong! Too many places, too many pussies and u have only a few days...

Well, why I'm now so particular abt the hotel is that have limited time over at pattaya: Practically just 1 day 2 nights --> Worse is that 1st night is expected to reach pattaya only at 2230 hrs cos as stated previously-> My original plan is bangkok and decide to venture out to Pattaya. So wont want spending time arguing with hotel over joiner fee. Just want cheong over and grab back the thai babes to hotel happily.

Yes, been there and done it sept last year too. Decent brekkie. Cosy, 1 block away from new shopping mall. Across soi is Tim's agg (if you lazy to leg it to Walking St).

Been a long time since i last posted in SBF, below is my experience in pattaya recently, hope it helps all future bros in here. My 2nd trip already in fact this year.

How to get to pattaya from bangkok?
If you coming from bangkok, take the BTS to Ekamai, Ekamai Bus terminal, buy a blue color Ron Muang bus to head to North Pattaya Bus Terminal, should cost u 113 baht. Buses leave about every 30min, takes about 1 hr 45min to get to pattaya. Beware if you buy a cheaper 90 baht pattaya-Jomtien beach tix, it will land u quite a distance from the main town.

If you coming straight from Suvarnabhumi Airport airport, just go down to 2nd level, get a ticket abt 200baht from bell service, but beware of timings, last bus perhaps about 2000hrs. Should land u in pattaya in 1 hour 30min in good traffic conditions.

Navigating around pattaya is easy, given its like our lorongs in geylang, given the roads/soi just run parallel to each other.

Things i did in pattaya

1) Soapy massage. (from 2pm to 12am, best to go about 4.30-5.30pm)
Go 2nd Road, hope on a Songtaew, those pickup sort, costs just 10 baht, head to Sukhumvit Soi 2, there's 3 soapys cluster here.
Prices range from 1600 baht to 2500 baht depending on location. I took one at Sabai Land, costs me only 1600 baht/90min. Took a girl called Jane, #135Service was really solid, best soapy i had. She did everything possible to arouse me to the max. FR shall leave to your imagination, but as always #tip 1 is to pick a girl who is dying to be picked when she spots you fishing. This can be seen by her waving madly at you or smiling hornily at you from the fish tank.

2) Walking street (from 8pm to 2am)
Its one of the main reason why you are here, this street has lotsa agogo pubs, beer bars, enough for you to bar-hop whole night here for about 2-3 nights. Recommended Agogos are Happy agogo, Supergirl, Super baby. Prettiest chicks found here. Barfines applies, between 500-700 baht. ST 2000, LT 4000 applies, not exactly cheap, but again depends on your negotiation power and chemistry with the gal. Quite common to find topless/nude/jacccuzi/foam/lesbo shows bath on stage performers, more daring than bangkok sometimes.
Often on the street, you can find street performers entertainment too.

3) Disco
There's lucifer disco, marine disco, marine 2, club insomnia
Entered hollywood pattaya, amazed that this disco while some distance off the beach, has lotsa agogo girls and their customers in tow. Most working girls love to come here relax and chill. I was brought here by 3 other girls from an agogo. Basically not really a place to fish for FL, but more of place to bring your gal for some partying instead.

4) bar hunting
basically one of my fave is to hunt for your gem for the night. There's 1000s of beer bars all over pattaya from soi 1 all the way to walking street, and even walking street beer bars has some gems too, but you got to be early. on beach road and 2nd road and lots more. Timing is most important, try to go early like 5-6+, target the major beer bars, whereby there' easily 50+ working at one location. Buy a drink at her bar she's working, chat her up, barfine 300baht and off u go. From what i know basically they earn about 3k baht a month, so most money comes from us cheongsters who barfine them. if you go late, sometimes good ones already taken up by Falangs, but not to worry, there's so many beer bars all over pattaya, happy hunting!
I hunted one just near my hotel, she could speak chinese as she worked in taiwan for 3 years. Paid only 2k baht for LT, definitely more value than Agogos. Bargirls range from age 20-30s, so depends on which category you are into, in general they are darker, but there's still quite a few gems to be spotted at every bar.

Although i read about bj-bars on soi 6, ventured there, but seeing the girls at the bars, i decided its a no-go for me, but still an eye opener, girls not really to my taste. Decided to keep to normal bar hunting instead.

5) Touristy stuff
Massage, shopping, short day time tours, temple tours, etc.

Thanks for your time here, a simple write up, skipping the FRs as its more of an informative guide for future pattaya cheongsters to be, if you tired of bangkok, can give the more laid back pattaya a try. its like phuket in terms of the beach and sun but more to offer.

If you don't mind me saying... i thought the LT was a little on the high side, isn;t it? From what I know, LT in Pattaya is around 2k to 2.5k. I paid mine for 3k, and some bros already say i overpay (though like you said... chemistry more impt). If 4k for LT, then price is even higher than in Nana and Soi CB in BKK ST should be ard 1.5k to 2k. That's for AGG though. I think beer bar should be lower. Anyway, just my two cents worth...just sharing

since i just returned recently, and its "peak season" now, naturally prices on the standard/higher side. Alot really depends on negotiation, chemistry with you and how hot/popular the girl is as well as peak/off peak season.

Depending on which girl u pick and luck of the day,
How you slash and nego price is really up to your charm and charisma.

I was quoted 2.5k for ST including room charge at one of the super agogo, so of course i didnt take up although the girl is roughly a 8/10. Tourist, they try to chop one....

Happy , Peppermint and Beach Club (same management) does not employ katoey. Ugly girls maybe , big girls maybe but I am 99% sure no ah guas. The 1st two agogos are always my first stops of every trip

No matter if they had their op or not , a thai national will always have his/her original sex on their ID card so the thais can tell the difference when employing. There is some noise to change this but recently not heard much of it most probably due to the other 'important' political issues.
