soory ah, i very newbie to Hat Yai, been reading up stuff. So from the airport, we can get a transit to the hotel also? Or we get our own cab and go to the hotel? Btw I going on the 2nd May till 6th... Any folks for meetup and tcss

from the airport u can catch a cab to hdy town. cost less than 300 baht. u can check into the hotel 1st. tell the reception u will give them the voucher later. i will be there from 29/4 to 2/5.

For confirmed hotel booking ahead of your visit, best you book from any travel agent. Especially New Seasons (with free internet in room) -quite popular certain periods. Try travel agent 707 no: +66898766936 (Ms Song). Only trouble is you may arrive late at night after 10pm -so arrange transport with them, driver with voucher for hotel. Rate is ard bt250, not much diff from taxis outside airport. I have even asked them to deliver voucher to hotel if I've my own transport (depends if they have dealt with you b4) and pay up next morning.

Of course, you could take a chance by checking-in hotel, with promise of voucher next day.

As for local transport, if you are alone -do the motorcyle thing as tuks may collect more customers enroute. Hdy is not big -you can also walk to most place in town. Enjoy

Nah, that's for you to discover (half the fun). Do some research on this thread and DIY site. Farms for KFC, Kiss Lounge for better packaging, Pink Lady massage (try C1 = Tao with 7 looks and body to die for, if she's still there from Feb) etc

hmmm nah, not really gonna stay in room all day and bonk, cos got 1 friend not bonking... so gotta go with him a bit lah... Night time most probably will drop by the Kiss Channel, 1st day actually tinking not to any any from the farms, cos a bit late abt 4+, maybe will have no good stuff... but shopping must go...

Erm btw for Seasons Hotel, i read no breakfast leh, anything with Breakfast, and internet surfing? Of cos within acceptable price lor...

if u want hotel with bfast..u can try lee garden hotel. but no internet connection. rate is 1050 baht

Aiyoh, most Hdy hotels no abf except LG and Novotel (THE hotel in Hdy, atas pricing 1300++). Unlike Bkk. Norm or SOP is go outside for your noodles, bak kut teh, tim sum, roti prata (bit diff style) etc -all for a song la.

Kiss Channel is a good bet for live music, coyotes. Other live music places Deep Wonder, Pubb (centre of town) and WestSide (pop rock music) for a beer is great. Be adventurous, try stylo Bar Berry (penthouse type bikini clad dancers) at Hansa -but beware you will harassed for $$ LDs + hanging flowers. Also cafe lounges like Valentine (My Home) and Volvo (next to Sakura Grand View). Not cheapest, but can look see. At least you have been there, done it.
