No no I am never going back to this city unless forced to. The streets are too dirty, full of holes, smelly. A lot of rubbish piles and the people there keep on adding to it OMG. The ladies are not very pretty (at least the ones I saw when I'm there), too many beggars disturbing during eating or around the street. Most of them don't understand English and it is not very tourist friendly place. The food also nothing fantastic except the price much cheaper. Everywhere smoking, the hygiene is very bad and I believe I got diarrhoea over there. The hotels are too old and never improve the service. The fast food ordering over there only Macdonald can make it as they have the self help kiosk that can translate to English. KFC and A&W are horrible trying to let them understand what I want.
Even when I have local friends who drove me around, the distance between every locations is almost at least 3 hours. The route is not very comfortable and very small plus rocky. OMG, the worst trip i ever been.
"less experienced" ladies i.e. less popular or face not so pretty = 365k idr. around 20-30 ladies at one corner where there are rows of seats like a cinema/stadium and the light shining brightly on their faces
"model" ladies i.e. better quality = 410k idr. also around 20-30 ladies, they will sit/stand near the bar side where it's darker. mamasan will talk to customers who just walk in / drinking at bar, then introduce the ladies for selection
can choose 2 ladies for 550k or 600k idr (can't remember as i went for 1 only)
the fee covers 30 mins sitting at the sofas where your chosen angel(s) will spend time chit-chatting with you, touchy feely and giving you GFE. after that you can decide whether to go downstairs for extra pleasure (60 mins included in fee). for downstairs activities, tip at your own discretion
2. emporium (tease club)
2.6mil idr +32% service charge / tax / tips = total 3.5mil idr
fee covers a bottle of 12yo glenfiddich or singleton + 1 GRO that will accompany you throughout the whole night except (if i remember correctly) around 1am where she will go on stage with all the other GROs and do sexy dancing. after around 1 hour dancing she will rejoin you
i think we got a 'regular customer' pricing thanks to a friend, the price on emporium IG is 3.8mil idr (not mentioned whether nett or ++). either that or the price went up within last 1 month
basically this is the type of club that makes jakarta nightlife famous - they wear bikinis but might as well be wearing nothing
DFK + tongue sucking, lap dancing, putting hands inside her bikini and touching her everywhere (she will also touch you everywhere)

phoenix has min spend 300k idr. all 3 bars can order GRO for 3 hours, 2mil idr, for chit-chat and GFE (not emporium type)

For those old-timers, Metropolis got closed down because of covid and is nka Missouri. Seems as if these massage shops are trying to pass themselves off as bars or restos. It's on the second floor. The price "all-in" is 575/60. All-in apparently means HE, HJ, FS. Dunno if massage is included.
Aquarius is just a few doors down, 615/90.
Dunno why Lowe Resto wasn't mentioned but it's just around the corner. While I didn't see any customers at the other two, Lowe was busy. They also seem to have twice the girls on duty. Normal room is 250/90. VIP room is 300/90. VIP has a bigger, higher bed. The rooms are reportedly the same size but due to language difficulties, couldn't' confirm that. The GRO will show you pics of the rooms if requested. Supposedly massage for the first hour. The GRO will show you a picture of each girl but you can ask to see more pics if she has any. All-in is 615 for VIP and 565 for normal.
The good thing about these shops is that they are open during the day.

aaa cannot stand the distance tho and the traffic. took me 2 hours just to get to new place but it's quite near.

Just goes to show, you never do your homework properly. Even if you want to eat street food, you don't just anyhow eat from any ones you see. At least do yourself a favour and google a bit. I have tried random street food (near PI/GI, kuningan, mangga besar, pasar baru) and never did I get any diarrhea considering I got a pretty weak stomach.

Same thing.. you don't do research, then don't complain. There's so many cheap and newer hotels (or at least well maintained) in jakarta especially if you stay kota.

Seriously, I don't speak bahasa indo but whats so difficult about pointing to pictures of the food you want to order? Some simple hand gestures will usually get you what you want (having here, take away). And frankly, lots of the people working in fast food restaurants are generally younger and I do not believe non of them understand simple english. They are probably just shy to speak it that's all.

Judging from all that you've written, it's either you stayed in some damn ulu place and your so called local friends don't know where to bring you... or you are just crapping here.

i recently bought airtickets for 3 trips till end of 2023 to jakarta, each trip minimum 2 weeks. Thanks to budget airlines promo.
That's how attractive Jakarta is to me.
